These crosswalks are not safe for people who are not in cars, and they don’t comply with the ADA. So, clearly, better close the crosswalks… This has nothing to do with safety. This is ODOT addressing liability concerns.

And with that, City Council passes resolution to create 250-person sanctioned campsites and implement a phased-in ban on unsanctioned camping. Comm. Hardesty was the lone vote against it, calling it cruel and inhumane to ban camping before the sites are set up.
