When a client needs something we do not do yet, we build it. A client asked whether Forensic OSINT could capture LinkedIn endorsements. The honest answer was no. The full list of endorsers was out of reach. Our dev team picked it up the same day. The video is the prototype on a live profile. Here is how these requests work. ✅ You tell us what you need to capture, and where ✅ You get a working prototype to use on your case right away ✅ It ships to everyone in a main product release once it is ready For this one, the prototype adds an Export Endorsements to CSV button. Each row is one endorser, with name, connection degree, headline and profile URL. The run in the video produced 213 rows from a single capture, with every file SHA-256 hashed. You still check the capture before you rely on it. The prototype does not change that. If a platform is blocking your collection, send it our way.

An AI-enhanced version of a grainy image that appears to show several men being arrested in relation to the ongoing incident at RAF Fairford is currently being shared on multiple platforms. A SynthID check reveals that the enhanced image was generated with OpenAI (first image). In the grainy version, which seems to be genuine, the faces of the men being arrested, along with a few other details, are not clearly visible (second image). Enhancing grainy images and videos with generative AI to identify key missing details - such as faces, writings, locations, logos, etc - often produces inaccurate and unreliable results. That's because AI models have no reference as to what the missing details in a real but grainy image or video look like, and therefore, they often generate those details based on an incorrect guess rather than factual data.

North Korean cyber group “WaterPlum” (aka “Contagious Interview”) is compromising job seekers’ computer networks, harvesting sensitive data, and stealing cryptocurrency. WaterPlum is targeting IT professionals in Japan, the United States, Europe, and beyond. Posing as prospective employers, these actors go after software developers and IT professionals with fake “dream job” offers.
