We don't choose trauma recovery because we "have" to. Plenty of people DON'T choose it. We choose it because it realistically offers us a shot at a life NOT ruled or ruined by "stuffed," untreated, pretend-it-doesn't exist trauma. We've lost enough time to all that sh*t.
