💥 EL CLÁSICO IS SPECIAL.

🚨Jude Bellingham on Vinícius Jr. getting sent off for a hair pull on Saliba: 🗣️ Jude Bellingham: “I’ve been watching football and playing football for 23 years, and honestly, some of the decisions I’ve seen since arriving in La Liga have been absolutely shocking. A few years ago, Marcelo had his hair pulled, and VAR kept quiet and allowed play to continue. Now, fast-forward to today, and we’re seeing a completely different reaction to an incident involving Vini. Tell me, what’s the difference? From what I saw, Vini had no intention of hurting Saliba. Did his hand make contact with his hair? Yes. But did he aggressively pull it with the intention of causing harm? I don’t believe he did. If the contact was as serious as they’re making it out to be, why was Saliba still standing, running and competing for the ball? I’m not saying a player has to fall to prove a foul happened, but surely the nature and intensity of the contact must matter when you’re making a decision this serious. Vini was trying to make a run, he was being blocked, and he continued playing. Jude Bellingham finds him with a beautiful pass, Vini finishes brilliantly, and we score a goal that should have put us two goals ahead. Then suddenly, the celebration is over, the referee is looking at the monitor, and we’re watching a goal being taken away. What shocked me most was how far they went to examine the incident. They zoomed in so closely to determine the exact contact Vini made with Saliba’s hair. I’ve never seen anything like it. But my question is simple: if we’re going to analyse every tiny detail in slow motion, are we going to apply that same level of scrutiny to every challenge, every shirt pull and every incident that happens in the penalty area? Because if the answer is yes, fine. Let’s have consistency. But if certain incidents are ignored while others are examined from every possible angle, then players and supporters have every right to question the process. And what frustrates me even more is that the referee initially allowed the goal to stand. The game continued, we celebrated, and only afterwards did VAR intervene and the situation change completely. I’m not against VAR. It can help football, and it can correct obvious mistakes. But it should be there to make the game fairer, not leave everyone more confused than before. Honestly, there’s something about the way certain decisions go against Real Madrid that makes you question whether we’re being treated consistently. I’m not saying every referee is against us, but tonight, I found it extremely difficult to understand the decision. We work all week for these moments. Vini makes the run, Jude delivers the pass, and the team scores. That’s the football we want to see. To have that moment taken away under these circumstances is incredibly frustrating. And let’s not forget Vini himself. He’s a player who gives everything on the pitch, who takes responsibility in big moments and who constantly puts himself under pressure to deliver for this club. You can criticise him when he gets things wrong, but you must also judge him fairly. You cannot tell players to respect the officials and then leave them questioning whether the rules are being applied equally. Respect has to go both ways. Football should be decided by the quality of the players, the work of the teams and the correct application of the rules not by decisions that nobody can properly explain. Tonight, I feel we’ve been let down. Not just because a goal was disallowed or because Vini was sent off, but because the entire sequence has left so many questions unanswered. If the referee believed a serious offence had taken place, explain it clearly. Show us why the goal had to be cancelled and why a red card was necessary. Because when you change a match so dramatically, you owe the players and the supporters more than a decision on a screen.”
