@_obnoxiousbeing It was very relatable until i read the quitting part. No, you don't quit. You keep on going because you assume it's your responsibility to heal everyone's trauma and also to avoid any future such happenings. I'm basically a parenting child, that's how we function

Being the eldest daughter means your mother's trauma is yours, your siblings' trauma is yours, anything your family is going through becomes your prioritized issue and your plate is so full that you aren't left with any energy to cope up with your trauma. 1/3
