And to all Ugandans who are angry disturbed & disgusted, we need to have an honest conversation about the direction of the struggle against dictatorship in this country. It is the oppressor and not the oppressed who defines the course of the struggle.

By doing the unthinkable, Museveni miscalculated! I'm glad this happened. Those who had doubt can now clearly see. All countries which care for democracy must now take a stand. You simply cannot continue supporting an absolute dictator who isn't shy about it. It's reprehensible!

Friends, As we all try to understand the cause of the explosions in Kampala today, let's all to look out for each other and be extremely vigilant. Very sad that lives have been lost and many others are injured. We should stand strongly with each other in such a tough time.

Yet again security operatives have blocked us from addressing the people of Lira despite having all the necessary clearances. They have ordered the management of Radio Wa, on which we were supposed to address the people not to host us with no reason given whatsoever.

Always looking for more repressive tactics, #DictatorMuseveni is now hell-bent on scrapping bail for 'capital offences' in our laws. An absolute joke, in a country where people are each day framed because they disagree with him. One would expect the MPs to learn from history.

Earlier today, we went to Kigo Government prison to check on our detained MPs, Ssegirinya Muhammad and Allan Ssewanyana. We found them in high spirits although sickly and frail after they were violently arrested and tortured. We continue to demand for their unconditional release.
