More time to play. More time to be a kid. 🚲 A bicycle can turn a long journey into a shorter one, giving children back time. Time to learn. Time to rest. Time to play with friends and simply be kids. Because when a bicycle makes getting from A to B easier, there’s more time for everything in between. Bicycles Change Lives.

Today, we celebrate the people, places, stories and traditions that make South Africa what it is. Our heritage is diverse, resilient and always moving forward. At Qhubeka, we believe bicycles can be part of that journey, connecting people to opportunity, education, work and one another. Happy Heritage Day, South Africa. 🇿🇦 #HeritageDay #BicyclesChangeLives #Qhubeka

As you will have seen, we have had several major distributions recently and we always show the joy and excitement of a Qhubeka #NewBikeDay ❤️🖐 However, we thought we would show a few images of Day +1 after a #Qhubeka bicycle distribution as well! Seeing children happily riding their new bicycles to school, helmets on, arriving earlier and with more time to prepare for the day ahead, safely locking them up for the return journey later, is what it’s all about. And it’s all thanks to you, our donors, alongside our logistics partners, our staff and volunteers 🖐 #BicyclesChangeLives

🚲 A bicycle can change the journey to school and so much more. 59 Grade 11 learners at Motsheudi Secondary School received bicycles with the support of @RSOnlineSA, through the Inqolobane Investment Trust. For these learners, a bicycle means more than simply getting from A to B. It means less time spent walking, easier access to school, greater independence and more time to focus on their education. A huge thank you to RS for investing in these young people and helping them move forward, one bicycle at a time. Community champion: @ZZ2Farming

1,000 bicycles. Four schools. One community. A very special milestone in Ga-Sekgopo, Limpopo. 🚲💛 Together with @Absa, our community champion @ZZ2Farming, and the donors who have invested alongside us in Ga-Sekgopo, Qhubeka has now reached 1,000 bicycles distributed to learners across the community’s four secondary schools. And fittingly, the 1,000th bicycle was funded by Absa. Absa’s continued investment in Qhubeka’s Scholar Mobility programme is helping remove distance as a barrier to education — enabling learners to get to school more reliably, attend more regularly and spend more time learning. The 1,000th bicycle is more than a milestone. It represents what sustained partnership can achieve when business, community and schools work together around a common purpose. One thousand bicycles. One thousand journeys to school. One thousand opportunities to build a brighter future. Our sincere thanks to @AbsaSouthAfrica for funding this landmark 1,000th bicycle, to ZZ2 for championing the programme in Ga-Sekgopo, and to every donor, principal, teacher, learner and community member who has helped us reach this remarkable milestone. Together, we continue changing lives with bicycles.

A BICYCLE OF HER OWN This is the moment everything changes. The day these girls receive something that they will treasure for years to come. Their own bicycle. Funded through @LeTourFemmes, each bicycle represents far more than steel, rubber and spokes. It is opportunity. It is freedom. It is a journey towards education. Each bicycle becomes uniquely theirs. Every bicycle tells a different story because every girl has her own journey. #TDFF2026 #WatchTheFemmes #TourDeFranceFemmes #RidingIntoTheFuture #BicyclesChangeLives 📸 Shari Thompson

Every bicycle funded by @LeTourFemmes has a story. This is how girls' futures change, one ride at a time. 💛 FROM THE PELOTON TO THE CLASSROOM Today, the Tour de France Femmes gets underway. As the world's best women cyclists take to the roads of France, they'll inspire millions with every kilometre they race. But their impact reaches far beyond the finish line. Through the Tour de France Femmes' support of Qhubeka, bicycles are helping girls overcome one of the biggest barriers to education: the journey to school. For many, that journey once meant walking long distances, often before sunrise and after sunset. Now, it means arriving at school on time, with more energy to learn and more time to dream. A bicycle is more than transport. It means greater independence. It means improved safety. It means better attendance. It means a greater chance to complete an education. Every kilometre raced by the professionals helps power a different kind of journey, one where girls can pursue their potential and build brighter futures. Together, we're proving that when women uplift women, incredible things happen. #TourdeFranceFemmes #TDFF2026 #WatchTheFemmes #BicyclesChangeLives #Qhubeka 🎬 Janik Alheit

The Happy Day. 💛🚲 For the past seven stages, we've followed the journey of a bicycle—from the generosity of a donor to the hands of a learner whose world has just become a little bigger. Now, it's time to see the whole story come together. Every smile. Every first ride. Every decorated bicycle made uniquely their own with ribbons, stickers and treasured household items. Every kilometre that opens the door to education, opportunity and hope. This is more than a bicycle. This is freedom in motion. Watch the full story and celebrate the over 2,000 lives changed through bicycles funded by @LeTour, one bicycle at a time. #TourdeFrance #LeTour #RidingIntotheFuture #BicyclesChangeLives #HappyDay #NewBikeDay 🎬 Janik Alheit
