Football is a simple game. Get your good footballers on the ball more often like Baur and Osmand. Why we keep giving Scales the ball like he’s Franz Beckenbauer when he’s not even Franz Ferdinand is beyond me.

Liam Scales and Dane Murray has to be the worst centre-back partnership in the league. Heart attack every time the ball goes near them.

Callum McGregor is a Celtic legend and has been a great Captain but imo this game is becoming a habit of his lack of influence now. He cannot dictate play, he takes the easiest option every time and he doesn't have the burst of pace to get away from players any more. Time and time again he's chasing players who have ran by him due to losing his position. Our defence rightly gets slaughtered on occasion but I think the problems stem from the midfield. Baur is a player but with McGregor so ineffective and Nygren's defensive instincts basically non existent it's constantly overrun and this is even more obvious in Europe. Absolutely no idea why Oxlaide Chamberlain is not in the side. This is so fucking sloppy all over the park

Nygren and McGregor stinking again in a midfield with no height, no muscle and no tackling. Unbelievable that the board and O’Neill deemed that midfield to be adequate as the transfer window closed!!

We haven’t improved as a team whatsoever this season. We don’t show signs of improving so far as a team. We look like 11 guys doing whatever they want. No cohesion, no structure, no system. That was fucking awful! O’Neill has to go.

This Celtic team is so dire to watch 😂 It’s so bad that it’s kinda funny but also it’s really not Scales & Murray is a bottom 6 SPFL partnership McGregor drops so deep between them that he provides nothing going forward but also bizarrely nothing defensively

We are a fucking awful awful watch and any win is delaying the inevitable. Need a new manager and coaching team asap. This just can’t continue

Cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can look at Murray and Scales and think they’re fit to be Celtic centre backs. Get on the inside track of Murray and he’s finished. Leave scales on the ball and he’ll give you it back.

@billybhoy999 They throw subs on like it’s a charity game and make an already disjointed side even worse.

McGregor has already passed up 4 or 5 opportunities to drive into space in the middle of the park in favour of a backwards pass. It's absolutely fucking chronic

When Brendan Rodgers arrived at Celtic in 2016, following Ronny Deila's departure, he quickly identified issues with players' fitness, weight and conditioning. Rodgers said: "Some players want to play in the team but you can’t train with the team if you’re not even at the right weight." Fast forward ten years, and I genuinely believe we're witnessing similar issues again. This current Celtic squad looks extremely unfit. The lack of intensity, pressing, movement and stamina is alarming. Fitness should be the absolute minimum expected of any player wearing a Celtic jersey. Does anyone else think we, as a team, look very unfit and injury-prone?

The reputational damage being done to Celtic throughout the football world by these players and these coaches and these directors is vast and unprecedented
