On 24.06.2024, @hydcus officers intercepted one pax who arrived from Abu Dhabi. On examination of the person , gold in paste form totally weighing 806gms valued at ₹58.8 Lakh were found concealed in the rectum were recovered/seized under CA,1962. @cbic_india @cgstcushyd

On 09.01.22 Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of gold against a male pax arriving by Flight G9-450 from Sharjah.970 grams of gold valued at Rs. 47.55 lakhs recovered & seized. Gold in paste form was concealed inside the bandages tied to calves of both the legs.

On 27.9.21 Hyderabad Customs booked a case for smuggling of gold against a male pax. arriving by Jazeera Flight J9 1403 from Riyadh via Kuwait. 763.660 gms of gold concealed in cookie and chocolate boxes valued at Rs. 34.24 lakhs recovered & seized. Further investigation ongoing.
