WA voting system is so rigged man. Why is this ok to put opinions to mislead voters on the ballot itself? The tax is not in place yet, so there's no "decrease" in funding if this passes.
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
Olympia named a whole section of the income tax bill: 'APPLICATION OF TAX TO PUBLIC PENSIONS.' Part VIII, Secs. 801–814. Teachers. Firefighters. Police. State employees. Judges. State Patrol. Fourteen sections so a tax sold as 'only millionaires' would apply to public pensions. -Read the heading yourself. -Call your union rep and ask why Then vote Yes on 645 to repeal the unconstitutional income tax
The public union bosses seem to be worried including April Sims and they are sending out flare missiles to distract and mislead. The reason they are worried is because they sort of kind of a little bit forgot to tell their members that the new income tax now subjects their pension/retirement accounts (and your social security account btw) to the new income tax. Prior to this unconstitutional income tax, WA state law explicitly prohibited taxation on public pensions. But for some reason the legislature reached in 11 times and change the law to make each of the public pensions subject to the tax. Now April and the other union bosses are screaming because they got found out. They say disingenuously, well no one make a million dollars a year on the pension so you are all safe. This is a don’t look at my other hand kind of trick. They absolutely refuse to answer the question of why the legislature took the protections off pension/retirement accounts in the first place. They didn’t need a million dollar exemption because they couldn’t be taxed. But now they can because the legislature changed the law. Why, April Sims, did they take the protections away from retirement accounts if there is no plan to raid them later?? See details in the comments for the actual language in the law. thestand.org/2026/10/no-the…
Tired of the media asking how we will pay for state government without an income tax in WA. Simple: the same way we have since 1889, without one. WA has record revenue. Never before have we had as much revenue as we do at this very moment. And it’s still growing! We also have a record $80B budget, that spends more than we are even projected to receive. It’s a spending problem, not a revenue problem. Since Democrats took large majorities in 2017, they’ve spent us into oblivion, raised the largest amount of taxes in history, made us one of the most unaffordable states in the country, and probably the most insulting… after all of that we don’t get anywhere near the results for the amount of money they take out if our pockets. WA has more homelessness and drug related deaths than ever, the lowest amount of police and too much crime, 30 year low in academic outcomes, a broken criminal justice system, we are facing down $4B in lawsuit payouts, we can’t fairly compensate or protect our employees, we can’t build housing or deliver permits on time, our front line service workers are exhausted and broken, our hospitals are on the brink of financial collapse, we are allowing babies to die from fentanyl exposure, we don’t lead in clean energy, our forests burn every year with devastating wildfires, and low income people are first in line at the democrat chopping block. No president or Congress created these problems. This is a great state, there is nowhere in the world as beautiful and rich a place as Washington State in my opinion. But the politics are ruining it. People are making difficult choices to escape their home to survive. 40 years of Democrat one party rule is killing our state. The best of times were under a more balanced state government, forcing parties to work together on common sense instead of fighting over the insane. That one party rule has entrenched ideologically radical leaders in state agencies more focused on politics than service, a court system more focused on ideological outcomes than justice or order, an entire industry of politically motivated grifters who waste or even defraud us to maintain control, and possibly a new supermajority where they’ll make sure we can never return. Maybe you look at the national scene and lose hope. But our problems are local, and we should focus intensely on those problems. Despite who has run the federal government in any given year our problems have persisted across many administrations and congresses. Ever the optimist, I have great hope for our state and its people. Some have lost faith, but there’s always another chance to turn back from the ledge and restore sanity. I also know for a fact that the number of reasonable people in WA is greater than the extremists, they just have to show up, and demand something better. You’ll have your chance to do that this month by voting and making sure everyone you know does. It’s a tired trope to say “this is the most important election”. For our state at least, there are red flags and promises made by the elite that set us up for a generation of misery, and for me that CANNOT be allowed. It’s time now to fight back… reject tyranny, reject communism, and say “no kings” to the radicals torching our state to ashes.
Bond Fraud in Bellingham? And why it matters that we repeal the income tax WARNING TLDR Follow this story in bullet point The Set Up - In February 2022, Bellingham schools convinced voters to approve a $122 million bond -The district claimed that enrollment was increasing and they needed to future proof their school capacity -$50million of the bond was designated to build a new elementary school #15 on the northside of town What is a Bond? (No, not a British spy) -A bond is basically a loan to the school district paid for by the taxpayers -in this case $50 Million for the new school and $72 million worth of goodies the district claimed it needed -Bonds have to be paid back - since schools don’t create money, the only way for them to pay back the loans are through property taxes -because local governments almost never reduce their budgets or their spending, new bonds require bigger budgets to fund the loan repayments -bigger budgets require more (higher) taxes -Bellingham voters have been paying that additional interest and principle through increases to their property taxes since they passed the bond The First Rub — They Lied -It turns out that the school district was less than honest about enrollment -Between 2019 and 2021 the five surrounding elementary schools lost a combined 100 students -It seems they knew this when they ran the bond The Second Rub— The New Elementary School #15 Construction has now been Cancelled -Due to declining enrollment, the district has decided not to build the new elementary school -even though it has already taken the loan out and the taxpayers are already paying if off through their property taxes The Third Rub -Three contractors who benefit from the bond spending actually put up 40% of the money to run the campaign to convince the voters to vote for the bond The Fourth Rub -For 2026-27 the district eliminated certificated librarians, reduced elementary and middle school counseling, cut about 60 certificated positions and ended fifth-grade outdoor school -The short bump in teachers in 2021 was funded by one time federal covid money with no serious plan once that money ran out -But district wide administrative count increased as teacher count fell School year Teachers District Admins 2019-20 802 16 2021-22 849 21 2024-25 795 27 Why Does This Matter? What Does it Have to Do with an Unconstitutional Income Tax? Bellingham is a Moral Tale for the rest of the state And Bellingham School District learned everything they know from Olympia -$30 car tabs — Cancelled -Light Rail To ballard —Cancelled -Federally protected salmon —Electrocuted by light rail -Natural Gas Protection Initiative — Over turned -Lottery Money to fund Education — Diverted -Marijuana tax money to Education — Smoked - CCA will only be pennies per gallon — 1000 pennies per tank -CCA funds give to political cronies — No accountability -CCA funds dedicated to environment — Funds raided -Paid Family leave tax — 300% rate increase in just 5 years -WA Dept. Of Commerce Website Invitation No income tax, no capital Gains tax - Rescinded and broken -2024 Income tax ban — Easily made easily broken -WA State Constitutional ban on income tax — Ignored -Pension/retirement account protection from taxation - Removed Safeguards There seems to be a pattern of broken promises in this state 1) We promise if you give us money we will do good stuff 2) It will be for the children 3) grift, graft and corruption 4) Delays, overruns, and cancellations 5) We need more money 6) This time we promise you can trust us YOU CANT TRUST THEM — This income tax is coming for you, your parents, your kids, and your retirement accounts Vote Yes I-645 to Repeal the Unconstitutional Income Tax Enough is Enough H/T @engele
10 Questions about the intentions of the WA State legislature and their unconstitutional income tax 1. If this tax is only for millionaires, why did the Legislature rewrite 11 pension statutes and strip the tax-and-garnishment shield public retirees have had since 1947? 2. Why did they reject an amendment that would have kept public pension and social security retirement accounts off the income-tax menu? 3. If the $1 million floor is a real promise, why did they refuse to lock it in during session - and actually voted against a proposed amendment to do so? 4. Why should anyone trust the “only millionaires” line after Senate Majority Leader Jamie Pedersen called the 2024 income-tax ban a “pie-crust promise — easily made, easily broken”? 5. If the tax doesn’t start until 2028, and is only supposed to be applied to a small number of taxpayers, why is the state creating a WA State IRS— already hired over 100 people targeting up to 300 people just to administer it — and planning $500 millions for enforcement? 6. Why attach an emergency clause to block a referendum if they were confident voters would keep this tax? 7. Why does a married couple get only one $1 million joint deduction but if the same two people divorced they would get one each — and what happens when the next budget hole appears? 8. If they needed to “open the pension account” now, what stops them from taxing a teacher, cop, or state-worker paycheck later? 9. After the legislature actually voted to ban income taxes in 2024, why should we believe the same Legislature won’t expand this one the moment revenue falls short? 10. If the pitch is “you’ll never pay it,” why build a full income-tax machine — auditors, software, liens, and pension access — before a single dollar is collected? Bonus question: 11. If they were sure this tax is legal and popular, why skip a constitutional amendment that voters would have to approve — and instead pass a tax the 1933 Culliton ruling treats as unconstitutional, then try to get the Supreme Court to rubber-stamp the workaround? ….Vote Yes to Repeal.
Weekend viewing. The voter pamphlet statement that the Ferguson-Pedersen state income tax scheme requires a vote of the people to be applied to everyone is a LIE. The State Legislature can remove Section 314 and the 9.9% state income tax applies to EVERYONE. And it will apply to retirement income. The Ferguson-Pedersen scheme removes legal protections that retirement money used to have in state law. These LIES are unnecessary. Our state government doesn't have a "budget crisis." It has a SPENDING problem. We don't even need spending cuts: If we just hold spending steady, we don't need the Ferguson-Pedersen scheme. youtu.be/xRxxSlK3NII?is…
@jcurleyshow , thank you for having me on your show today to discuss the most recent editorial board piece the @seattletimes put out against I-638. To those writers at the Seattle Times—let me start by saying this: I wholeheartedly stand by, now more than ever, what I said about you before when you decided to pull the @Matt_Calkins article. You ARE a woke rag who silences the voices of anyone who has a differing opinion from yours. I would also like to add that the only group doing the “fear-mongering” is you. You tell people and athletes that in order to play a sport, they have to have invasive genital exams. WRONG! I have been playing sports all my life, and never once have I had to expose myself to anyone just to prove I am a girl. You tell the voters of Washington that it is only 10–12 athletes out of many and that they affect little to no athletes. WRONG AGAIN! 1 athlete is 1 too many. That one athlete can have an effect on a whole team, a whole locker room, a whole roster spot, and a girl who has worked countless hours just to get to the point where she is now. You tell people that in order to have a safe and inclusive space for everyone, they should allow men to compete in their sports and be able to walk into their locker rooms whenever they please. What a load of BS. Have you been in a locker room when this has happened to you? Because I HAVE! To think that a paper as large as yours is too afraid to let a column run about a 17-year-old girl’s experience of having an 18-year-old man play against her girls’ basketball team and go into her locker room when she was 15 is cowardice. I will say it again—you are cowards. Here is the reality of what is happening: “transgender women” are men, and they always will be. Let’s stop calling them women when we all know darn well that they are not. This is a LIE that I refuse to accept. Seattle Times Ed Board: Kate Riley, Ryan Blethen, Melissa Davis, Josh Farley, Alex Fryer, Claudia Rowe, Carlton Winfrey, Frank A. Blethen (emeritus), and William K. Blethen (emeritus): It is a shame that you are so deeply brainwashed that you are willing to publicly spread lies about Initiative 638. It is even more of a shame to think that I, a 17-year-old girl, have more common sense to be able to stand up for what is right. I urge anyone who disagrees with me to meet with me face-to-face and have this discussion civilly. No need for hate or threats like I’ve been subjected to. I will make time: any place, anywhere, any time. As the Times and others would like to spin it—this is NOT about hate. It never has been—it’s about protecting GIRLS. The last thing I want to add is that the only thing we should say NO to is the news organizations like yours that choose to spread lies like this and have the audacity to make it look like you are trying to do the right thing. The people see through this. I am calling on the people of Washington State to choose common sense and choose to do what’s RIGHT! Vote YES on 638 to protect the real women and girls who just want a safe and fair space to compete! And for anyone hiding behind a screen saying this is AI or accusing me of not writing my own posts—this is all me. I also invite you to be brave like I have been and expose yourselves rather than hide and call a 17-year-old girl disgusting names. Takes a real tough guy to do that… about as tough as the Times for being too scared to listen to a 17-year-old’s side of the story. —Frances Staudt @Riley_Gaines_ @JenniferSey @sagesteele @megynkelly @Michele_Tafoya @Outkick @DailySignal @FoxNews @BrandiKruse @seattletimes @letsgowa @IWF @xx_xyathletics @bac37 @jk_rowling @libsoftiktok @Moms4Liberty @choeshow @jcurleyshow @stevemgordon67 @bkheywood
My coffee machine broke this morning, so you guys get an unfiltered Andy Stevens. I have never been more motivated to retake Washington state from the commie progressives, than I am today. Let me tell you why you should be too. We just watched the all mighty and powerful teachers union get neutered by a competent superintendent, who might actually turn Seattle schools around. We shall see, but he sure put that insane union in its place. I'm not sure people fully understand the ramifications of this one on state politics. We are watching our state's election system be called into question, as people learn just how insecure it is. This was even a recent topic in my Guys Political Group chat, with everyone a bit surprised that the non citizens in our group could (illegally) register to vote, receive a ballot, and vote, all because we have no eligibility system in place for registering. Do I think widespread illegal voting is happening here in Washington state? I have no idea. Neither does the state, because they don't check. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying or misinformed. BTW, me saying this will probably end up in another report in front of SoS Steve Hobbs, who once had consistent liberal morals. Frankly, I hope he does read this, because I believe the liberal in him is sick of the progressive infection like most of us are. (Hobbs, do better. Stop protecting our broken election system and work to fix it) All that being said; us middle folks need to outnumber the progressives every election if we ever hope to change things. That's the ONLY way it is going to happen. Moving on Audit after audit is coming back showing how HORRIBLE our state government is being ran. Shocker, right? Lol. So far, the audits have only been a blip on the news radar (props to KOMO), but I suspect they will gain more attention soon. The marxist mayor of Seattle is essentially the Ghost of Political Future in Washington, if we keep electing idiots and ideologues. She's done more to send Seattle liberals back to common sense than any single person I can think of. The jokes with her write themselves, but nobody is laughing. My personal opinion is that she should resign (60% of Seattle voters apparently agree), but I'd be lying if I didn't admit how politically beneficial it is for her to stay. Still, the former long term Seattleite in me wants to see the city succeed, and that is not going to happen with her at the helm. KCRHA is dead. Long live KCRHA. I still have never fully revealed my role in their downfall, but it was years long, involved intel from actual workers within the organization, and is one of the most satisfying things I've done in politics. They were corrupt to the core, and I hope that their (more or less) disbandment means addicts and actual homeless people can finally get the help they need. It has and will continue to be a drug addiction and mental health emergency, not a housing one, and I have unfortunately seen this firsthand with friends, family members, and former lovers. Governor Ferguson is THE most unpopular Governor in modern Washington State history. It is a shame the Elway polls ended, because the media has sort of glanced over the new polls. Even so, it has been satisfying watching most of the media not reporting his press releases as gospel anymore. In other words, they don't like him either. If he wanted to, he could tell the progressives to go F themselves and be a better governor than Inslee ever was, but he has shown himself to be weak and cowardly. A moderate D could knock him off in the next election, under ideal circumstances.. Sound Transit LOL. LMFAO even. I've never seen a politician in WA so hated as Dow Constantine is, and he has and continues to earn every bit of it. As soon as the alliance forms to get an initiative going to make the Sound Transit Board elected, that dude's crony given job is on notice. As for the agency itself; mixed bag. On one hand, there are actual, tangible trains carrying people (hello CA HSR). My older daughter is one of them, and I get a regular update on the drug use, urine, and feeling of being unsafe outside commute hours or big events. But it gets her to her job DT and to the airport, and I'm glad we have a light rail system. On the other hand, I pay somewhere near $2,500 a year in car tabs alone to fund a system that can't seem to get its shit together. Yes, I have lots of cars and motorcycles, but outside the RTA, my bill might not even crack $1000. And don't get me started on the scam car valuation schedule.. The fact that they just now approved fare gates, but will need 4 years to install them is stupid. This should be treated like the emergency it is, but something something.. So why am I excited about Sound Transit? Because normies are finally tired of their bullshit, too. Let's talk about the media The written media...oh man is this an interesting one. The once proud Seattle Times has become the Stranger, the Stranger has become unrecognizable, and The Center Square Washington has become the paper of record the Seattle Times used to be. Axios has moved closer to the middle, and Lynnwood Times has replaced the Everett Herald in what I read for local Snohomish County news. The TV media... If you watch one TV News channel, make it KOMO. Every one of their journalists is kicking ass right now, with notable mentions to Chris Daniels and Jeremy Harris. But there are other others worth following as well. FOX13 has David Rose, Hana Kim, and Alejandra Guzman; KIRO7 is pulling out of their restructuring stronger than they went in, and even King5 has surprised me with some good stories. There are others doing a good job; this is just not the post to list them all in. The Radio media... Many of us used to listen to Dori on weekday afternoons. I did not know him personally, but listen to a man talk for years and years, and you get a sense of his (good) morals. While nobody can replace Dori, someone has already stepped into the radio watchdog role he (and Dave Ross) played; KIRO Radio's Charlie Harger. His commentaries are sending shockwaves through WA politics, and his radio show (with Manda Factor) is one everybody should be listening to in the mornings. You can also do like me and listen to his commentaries and interviews on youtube. Brandi Kruse Special mention to Brandi because it seems like anytime I talk to a neighbor about politics, meet someone new in the non political world, or have dinner with extended family; her name comes up as someone they listen to. Am I in lockstep with every single thing she discusses? Of course not. Nobody should be, and she will be the first one to tell you that you should have your own, well informed opinions. But man...she nails it on the big stuff. And yes, she absolutely is a journalist. The ugly stuff I'm going to bitch about Puget Sound 2024 was finally feeling like our region was leaving the dark covid years behind. Seattle was ran better; a bunch of good initiatives passed; and it felt we might get back to the mid 2010s. Boy was I wrong. I now have multiple neighbors and friends moving due to politics, cost of living, crime, and exhaustion. I myself looked into moving, but decided to stay and fight instead. If we lose WA, the commies will eventually infect other states (look at Texas). Traffic has always been bad, but the lawlessness of 2023 seems to be coming back to our roads. I remember growing up here and getting speeding tickets for 10 over. Now 10 over is completely normal and almost expected. My last ticket was for 73 in a 60 through Everett, and a former police chief laughed at me for the low speed when I told him about it. But the speed isn't what makes things so unsettling these days. The weaving between lanes, the cutting off, the road rage, the hit and runs (I've had 2 in 2 years), the failures to go at green lights, the uber drivers, the reckless idiots looking at their phones while driving...it is back with a vengeance and there is no enforcement mechanism here to stop it. Crime Is crime going down here? Technically yes. But you'd be foolish to ignore WASPC, who sounded the alarm last month that the rest of the country is seeing record low crime rates, while we are not even below pre pandemic. And it is hitting home. This year, we had a high speed chase end on my street, where the criminals ran and hid in one of my neighbor's backyards. We are having more prowling, more questionable hooptie cars going up and down our street, and more recklessness than ever on the arterial next to us. We also keep having a pair of obviously homeless drug addicts appear in our neighborhood. This summer, one of them was doing the fenti-fold outside my fence for 40 minutes. Him and another guy keep setting up shop near (and recently on) the abandoned quarry by my house, and i suppose it is a taste of what Seattle residents have been going through for over a decade. (When i lived on Eastlake in 2014, we kept having addicts and obviously mentally ill folks take over our dog park, though the King County Deputies would remove them within 24hrs back then.) Wrapping it all up Things here are shit for a plethora of reasons. But this is MY home, and I'll be damned if I let some commie bastards chase me out of it. And for once, it feels like the tide truly is turning, which is why I will continue to live in the most beautiful place in the world, ran by the worst people you've ever seen. But at least people are seeing them now. -Andy
On Friday, a judge in Thurston County cancelled our hearing to argue why the PIID is factually inaccurate and essentially cut the people out of the process. We're still telling everyone we know: VOTE YES ON I-645 TO REPEAL THE INCOME TAX. Read more about what happened and our response here. letsgowashington.com/judge-allows-u…
40 years of one party rule in WA state 1) Pass an unconstitutional income tax ignoring legal precedent and the need for an amendment to the constitution 2) collude with the AG to prevent a referendum for a straight up repeal of the income tax by the voters 3) when an initiative is filed, union funded and majority party affiliated groups challenge the ballot title and delay the process 4) AG writes a hard to understand ballot title that will be confusing to the voters 5) Legislature, sick of dealing with anti tax initiatives passes a poorly written law designed to further confuse voters called the PIID - which allows the AG to put a one sided financial impact statement directly on the ballot 6) Stack the courts We are now at step 7 7) AG writes a financial impact statement that has been poll tested to have a maximum negative impact on the initiative voters - 8) Thurston county courts get sole discretion to rule on any PIID challenge (it may not be appealed to the Supreme Court) — Thurston county justices, by the way were all appointed by Inslee except for one and that one was appointed by Ferguson. All of them are former assistant attorney generals under majority rule AG’s Follow for steps 9 and 10 This quote seems appropriate for the occasion “Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.” — Orison Swett Marden Get out and vote Yes on I-645 Repeal the Income Tax so we can also measure success by defeating the machine….
This is government-sponsored advocacy masquerading as neutral ballot information. And it creates a deliberately uneven playing field. The tax has not collected a single dime and will not produce revenue until 2029. Its proceeds are not dedicated to schools, children or health care. They go into the general fund, where future legislators will decide how…or whether…to spend them. Yet the government is using its official position and the ballot itself to suggest that voting for this initiative means taking money away from children and vulnerable people. That is not a statement of fact. It is a political scare tactic designed to make voters do the government’s campaigning for it. Meanwhile, the families and small businesses that will ultimately bear the consequences do not get their own warning printed on the ballot. Their side of the story is nowhere to be found. Government should provide voters with neutral information…not load the ballot language, invoke children, and then use voters to protect a tax before it has collected its first dollar. That is not an honest debate. It is the government putting its thumb on the scale at the expense of the very people it is supposed to serve. This is the predictable result of decades of one-party control with no meaningful checks and balances. The people who imposed the tax now get to write the official warning telling voters why they should not repeal it. They are not merely arguing their side…they are using the authority of government and the ballot itself to tilt the field in their favor.
Voters this November will be told that repealing the income tax would reduce funding for schools and healthcare. But how can repealing a tax that won't generate a single dollar until 2029 reduce funding for programs that aren't receiving any of that money today? The income tax
Good. The current governor should call a special legislative session to suspend WA's too-high state gas and diesel taxes. We could do this in one day.
BREAKING: State Senate Republicans are formally requesting that Gov. Bob Ferguson call a special session explicitly to lower gas prices by pausing gas taxes from the Climate Commitment Act (SB 5126 in 2021, enacted 2023) and low carbon fuel standards. These sky-high state taxes
America’s ruling class has performed another miracle. They took the most basic truths in human civilization ... crime needs punishment, borders need enforcement, schools should teach, welfare should be temporary, families matter, merit matters, and taxpayers should not be looted by professional parasites ... and somehow rebranded all of that as “extremism.” Incredible work, really. Apparently, a “compassionate” society is one where the violent repeat offender gets another chance, the victim gets a candlelight vigil, the taxpayer gets the bill, the schoolkid gets passed along illiterate, the fraudster gets a grant, the NGO gets another contract, the illegal alien gets services, and the working American gets told to shut up and be more inclusive. What a beautiful system. Soft justice did not stay in the courtroom. It metastasized. It became soft borders, soft schools, soft parenting, soft welfare, soft standards, soft men, and soft bureaucrats explaining why every obvious solution is “too harsh.” Lock up predators? Cruel. Deport illegals? Hateful. End generational welfare? Lacking empathy. Punish fraud? Complicated. Restore merit? Problematic. Teach kids to read? Probably colonialism by Tuesday. A serious country protects the innocent from the guilty. A decaying country protects the guilty from consequences and makes the innocent finance the experiment. That’s America’s real crisis. Not poverty. Not “root causes.” Not another fake expert panel. Consequences. We stopped imposing them on the people destroying the country, so now the country imposes them on everyone else. What every LA voter must hear.
If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They
DAMN. Former Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire, a Democrat, goes scorched earth on the current Democrats leading the state. Says they have no clue how bad their policies are for the economy.
The Washington Supreme Court can’t say precedent matters in not allowing a referendum on the income tax and then strike down 100 years of precedents of ruling against state income taxes. Because that’s exactly what they are going to do. And it’s why all incumbents on the state Supreme Court need to be voted out this November.
