Yesterday, my husband mentioned to employees how many people have died in our region from covid in last month (the most since Feb 2021). They said they had no idea people were still dying from covid because they never hear anything about covid anymore. Public Health has failed us

Christchurch, New Zealand. All the immigration and biosecurity staff in fit tested N95s, mainly 3M Auras. A few who failed fit test were in PAPRs. The officer I spoke to said they had had zero occupational transmission. IT'S. NOT. HARD.

Being asked if our large summer wave will displace the expected fall/winter wave. Until governments take COVID seriously and reintroduce protective measures, we will get wave after wave and variant after variant. Need funding for intranasal and variant-proof vaccines NOW.
