For clarity, SRA plans to drop base quality from the SRA copy but to provide the full data in the cloud. We researchers need to pay the egress/downloading fees. The cost is ~90 USD per terabyte per download (in comparison, a 14TB 3.5-inch hard disk costs <400 USD).
