I try not to chime in on music discussions on social media because like most things in life, it’s a lot of nuance that folks aren’t prepared to unpack and also most folks who are really work in the industry aren’t on social media “trying” to be guru’s. They’re really working

The music industry (especially on the black music side) is REALLY small. That’s why I’m always so confused when y’all take some of these talking heads on here serious because one phone call will let you know they’re full of shit
How do y’all be taking the advice of folks who never worked in the music industry, never worked at a label, never broke an artist, never broke a record, never made a hit, never charted with a song or album, never made a real living from music, etc?? I’m so confused
I really gotta get back to this level of color theory for my next film! This was my first self directed video for “Counterfeit” - Took the idea from Robert Palmers “Addicted to Love”. I remember getting everyone’s wardrobe from “Topshop” (remember them lol) - such a fun video
Music really doesn’t have fans anymore. Just critics and commentators :(
Of All Time?? Stevie Wonder Paul McCartney & John Lennon (I count them as one unit) Smokey Robinson Bob Marley Holland - Dozier - Holland

Tinashe's eighth album is her best and bravest yet: more ambitious, more focused, and effortlessly in touch with the zeitgeist. It’s the best pop album of the year Read our Best New Music review: pitchfork.visitlink.me/qoMOVv
@BrianZisook I second this. I had to create a company because I was getting so much business composing original music for brands/tv/film. The beauty of having multiple musical strengths
