Great ! Good for her and you! One thing that most "FSD tester" who have to "disengage" have no sense of , is that practically ALL of their "disengagements" are "false positive" , i.e. they disengage not because there is a problem that FSD doesn't manage, but because FSD does something that should be done and that the "driver" doesn't notice, understand or doesn't do the same way as FSD will! Some example: In a city street FSD all of sudden "pulls over" and "slows" for no obvious reasons until you realize that yes, there was a pedestrian on the sidewalk who was about to cross the street, and that YOU did not see! YOU, the driver did NOT see it, but FSD with its 8 unencumbered eyes DID see! There's an emergency vehicle behind you, which, with your only 2 forward looking eyes you did not see , but that FSD with it's 8 eyes DID see! You're on the freeway catching up with a slower car , or truck on the right lane. You want to pass them. FSD will , but it typically moves closer to the vehicle than you would before changing lane to pass in the left lane. So you freak out , "take over" and change lanes earlier than you really need to! When you read "FSD tries" from people who: Have never driven a Tesla Are on a 5 miles test drive: Just ignore any negative comments they have on FSD : they just don't know what they're talking about !
My wife took my Cybertruck on a girls beach trip. She is not used to using FSD so I told her to not hold the steering wheel, just rest her hands on her knees and let FSD drive. She took over twice on the 4 hour trip. Once because she thought it was glitching when it started
