Reditより： ペルーでのストーカー騒動に関する背景と現状の説明 こんにちは！ ペルーの現在の状況について、多くの誤解や混乱が見受けられるため、実際には何が起きているのかを国外の皆さんに説明したいと思います。 まず知っておくべき重要な点として、今回の騒動が起きているホテルはリマ市内で最も有名なホテルだということです。 ほとんどすべての著名人がそこに宿泊しますし、非常に観光客が多く賑やかなエリアに位置しています。 文字通り、人気のショッピングモールの目の前であり、様々なレジャーが楽しめる海岸沿いのエリアでもあります。 リマは歩いて回れる街で、憩いの場や公園も多く、人々は外を散歩したり通りで過ごしたりするのが大好きです。 そのため、ここには「たむろする」ことを問題視するような概念そのものがありません。 それと同時に、セレブリティに対する文化も大きく異なります。 多くのアーティストは、空港やホテルで待っているファンに挨拶したり、サインをしたり、ホテルの窓からミニショーを披露したりします。 本物のARMYならBTSがそういった対応をしないことを知っていますが、地元住民やメディア、ライト層のリスナー、あるいは曲を10曲しか知らずWeverseすらインストールしていないような「自称ARMY」たちは、BTSも他のセレブと同じように振る舞うものだと思い込んでいます。 1週間前、私たちARMYはSNSや報道機関を通じて、ホテルに行かないことやプライベートな時間に彼らに近づかないことを呼びかけました。 しかし、私たちはあらゆる方面から攻撃され、嘲笑されました。 メディアや記者たちからは、注目の出来事を報道する自由を奪い検閲しようとしていると非難されました。インセル（女性蔑視的なネット民）たちからは「大人の男を過保護に扱いすぎだ」とファン活動を馬鹿にされ、殺害予告まで送られてきました。 地元の人々は「MJやビートルズのような『本物の大スター』はこれ以上の注目を浴びても文句ひとつ言わなかったぞ。有名であることに感謝すべきだ」と言ってきました。 このように、文化の違いを周知しようとした私たちの啓発活動は完全に裏目に出てしまい、私たちの懸念はくだらないものとして片付けられ、以前にも増してグループに嫌がらせをしようとする動きが強まってしまったのです。 さらに事態を難しくしているのが、ペルーにおけるBTSの圧倒的な知名度です。 誰もが一度はその名を聞いたことがあります。 彼らの来日は一大ニュースであり、良くも悪くも誰もが関心を持っています。 ペルーの一部の有害なK-POPファンは「自分たちの推しグループが来たときはこんなことにならなかったから、お前たち（ARMY）に問題がある」と言っていましたが、BTSは次元が違います。 贔屓目なしに見ても、街全体がこれほど動くのを見たことがありません。 滞在初日、ホテルの外にいた人の大半は地元住民やネットの野次馬たちでした。 中には「彼らを放っておいてほしければ寄付金を送れ」とARMYに要求しながらTikTokで生配信をしている人たちまでいました。 しかし今日、ペルーのファンベースがホテルの近くでドローンショーを開催しました。 このショーは、彼らがどこに滞在するかが判明する何ヶ月も前に計画・申請され、許可が下りていたものです。 前述の通り、このエリアは非常に観光に適した場所であるため、ドローン運営企業がそこで実施すること自体は自然な判断でした。 それに加えて、今日は祝日だったため、リマ周辺の観光地は普段から非常に混雑します。 さらに、この地域ではドローンショー自体が珍しいものです。BTSを聴いたこともない私の母でさえ、「面白そうだから」という理由だけで見に行きたがったほどです。 これらすべての要因が重なり、ホテルの周辺に膨大な群衆ができてしまいました。 祝日だから遊びに来ていた人、ドローンショーを見に来た人、そしてもちろん、ホテルを目当てに来た人や、近くにいて「BTSの騒ぎは一体何なんだ」と様子を見に少し足を伸ばした人たちが入り混じっているのです。 海外のARMY（i-ARMY）が「一体警察は何をしているんだ」と怒っているのも目にしました。 ですが……警察は完全に役に立ちません。 初日、ホテルの外に人が集まっているのを見るや否や、ペルーのARMYは警察や近隣の警備会社に通報しました。 他の南米のARMYたちも、ホテルの外国人宿泊客を装って外の騒音について苦情を入れて協力してくれました。 それに対する警察の返答は、基本的に「外にいる人々は何の犯罪も犯していない」というもので、メッセージを送って回線をパンクさせるのをやめるよう警告される始末でした。 昨日、ナムジュンの投稿を受けてリマ市長が動画を公開し、アーティストたちが休めるようにホテル周辺の警察の警備を強化すると表明しました。 私たちはついに報われたと大喜びしましたが、最悪のタイミングが重なってしまいました。 祝日、ドローンショー、そして立地条件のすべてが裏目に出てしまったのです。 今朝はホテルの正面がガラ空きで警察が配置されているのを確認できたものの、今となってはこの混雑をどうやって収拾をつければいいのか見当もつきません。 この数週間、私たちペルーのARMYはリスペクトを訴えるキャンペーンを行いながら、必死の思いで戦い続けてきました。 メディア、地元住民、ネットの野次馬、他のK-POPファン、さらには私たちの置かれた状況を理解してくれない海外のARMYからさえも、四方八方から叩かれています。 彼らを歓迎するためにたくさんの企画（例えばドローンショーなど😭）を準備してきただけに、BTSを含めたすべての人々に我が国に対してこのような印象を持たれてしまったことが本当に悲しくてなりません。 今、私たちはどうすればいいのか分からなくなっています。海外のARMYから罵声を浴びせられ、「ペルーはBTSに値しない」「コンサートを中止すべきだ」と要求されるのを見るのは本当につらいです。 中には10年以上も待ち続け、すべてにおいて正しい行動をとってきたファンもいるのに、状況を改善しようと全力を尽くしてきたにもかかわらず、自分たちにはどうすることもできない事態の責任を押し付けられています。 私たちの中には、生で彼らを見られるのはこれが最後になるかもしれないとすでに覚悟し、それを受け入れるしかないと考えている人もいます。 その一方で、このような状況にもかかわらず、彼らが市内を観光できたことには救われています。 リマの様々な場所から写真を投稿してくれました！出国する前に、マチュピチュにも訪れることができるよう願っています。 また、初日の公演でも彼らは私たちに本当に優しく、温かく接してくれました。 深く愛されていると感じさせてくれたおかげで、彼らが私たち全員を一括りにして見ているわけではないと分かり、罪悪感が少し和らぎました。 結局のところ、何が起きているのかという実情を皆さんに知っていただき、アルゴリズムが拡散したがるような悪意あるツイートだけを見て早まった結論を出さないでほしいと願っています。 追記：どなたかこれをWeverseに転載していただけるなら、ぜひお願いします！ 自分でやろうとしたのですが、あのプラットフォームの使い方がよく分からなくて（笑） すでに多くのペルーのARMYから、今回の状況に対する謝罪文や投稿がたくさん上がっているのも目にしています。 🔗reddit.com/r/btsthoughts/…

I have seen the most vile xenophobic takes on this situation till now, and I’m genuinely beyond disgusted. The fact that the tannies have to go through this is upsetting enough, but the way some of you are reacting to it is making everything worse. First of all, what happened in Lima was NOT okay. Namjoon literally had to ask people to stop gathering outside their hotel, and people were still crossing boundaries, harassing the members when they were trying to leave, and circulating private airport and hotel footage. There is absolutely no excuse for this behaviour, and nobody should be defending it. But why has this suddenly become an opportunity to attack Peruvian ARMYs as a whole? Why are we calling LATAM ARMYs f@ds, making xenophobic remarks, and acting as though BTS would automatically be safer if they were in another country? Of course, there are people who behaved inappropriately, and they should be held accountable. But that does not mean every Peruvian ARMY was involved in what happened. There were even fan projects organised in the same area by fanbases that didn’t know BTS was staying there. You cannot take the actions of certain individuals and use them to justify generalising an entire community. And I need some of you to understand that THIS IS NOT A COUNTRY VS COUNTRY ISSUE. We are talking about BTS’s safety, not which country is better, which city is safer, or which “part of the fandom” is more deserving of them. Security challenges can exist anywhere, and the fact that something happened in one place does not mean it could never happen somewhere else. If you want to criticise the people who crossed boundaries, DO IT. If you want to question security arrangements and demand better planning, DO IT. But stop shifting blame without knowing the full circumstances, and stop using a legitimate concern for BTS’s safety as an excuse to be xenophobic towards people who may have had absolutely nothing to do with what happened. And to the Peruvian ARMYs who are having to witness all of this, I am genuinely sorry. You deserve to experience this concert that you’ve been waiting for. You deserve to see BTS and make memories with them. You do not deserve to have your excitement overshadowed by people treating you as though your nationality makes you less deserving of this experience. We are a GLOBAL fandom. Every country BTS visits is a representation of our fandom as a whole, and the responsibility to respect their boundaries belongs to all of us. This behaviour needs to be called out wherever it happens, not brought up selectively to attack a particular country or community. We cannot keep preaching about BTS bringing people together and then turn around and use their safety to justify hatred towards other ARMYs. You can be angry about what happened in Lima and still recognise that Peruvian ARMYs are not collectively responsible for it. You can demand better security without turning this into a competition about which country is safer. You can hold people accountable without resorting to racism and xenophobia. The tannies deserve to feel safe wherever they go. Their staff deserve to be treated fairly, and fans who respected their boundaries should not have to answer for those who didn’t. These things are NOT mutually exclusive. Please stop turning every situation into another opportunity for fanwars. The point should be to make sure this doesn’t happen again, not to decide which country deserves the blame or where BTS should and shouldn’t go. Their safety is a shared responsibility. It is not a competition, it is not an excuse for xenophobia, and it should never come at the expense of an entire community being treated as though they are all guilty.

The girls from Peru are putting together such beautiful projects. Now there’s a drone show, which, from what I’ve read, had already been planned for that location, which is a very popular tourist spot. If there was any mistake, it was on HYBE’s team for placing the biggest group in the world in such a central location. The team should have been prepared and aware of the location and the fans. Trying to control a crowd by simply giving an order wouldn’t have worked anyway. So, congratulations to the Peruvians!

Please don't take this devastation as an invitation to be racist and xenophobic. What we've seen from Peru is not a reflection of an entire demographic of people. These army have waited god knows how long for their chance to see the boys. Condemn the BEHAVIOR, don't be vile.
