I’ve played WoW since original launch. I became disabled along the way and using a mouse/keyboard is much harder for me now because of how my arms function. So when I see people complaining that WoW “shouldn’t” be playable on a controller, I think about how many of us have been here for decades. We grew up with this game. Some of us became disabled, some got older, some of our bodies simply changed. We still want to be here. Accessibility isn’t always about opening the gates for some hypothetical new audience. Sometimes it’s about not shutting the gates behind the people who were already inside.
