Prime Minister Andrew Holness has vowed that the Gov't will make the law tougher on criminals who possess illegal guns. The Prime Minister made the commitment on Friday when he visited the family of 25year-old Orneilia Walker who was murdered by gunmen at her gate in Tower Hill.

@madebyolah Stop going to these dumb ass restaurants. If you want a proper experience then go where you can get it. If I go into a restaurant and I don't get offered water and some warm bread, a full menu and a wine/drink menu then I'm out. It's simple as that.

SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS RESTAURANT OWNERS, BUT THIS HAS GOT TO STOP. I sat down at a table last night, and there were no physical menus. Just a laminated QR code taped to the wood. I had to pull out my phone, scan the code, navigate a laggy menu website, put in my own order, and type in my credit card details. A runner brought the food to the table 20 minutes later. Then the digital checkout screen defaulted to a 22% tip prompt. FOR WHAT? You eliminated the host, eliminated the server taking orders, forced me to use my own mobile device and cellular data, and then asked for a 22% tip for order entry I completed myself? THAT IS NOT A HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE. THAT IS AN UNPAID CUSTOMER WORKFLOW WITH A FORCED TIP PROMPT ATTACHED.

NAC opens the gate (biofilm). Lactoferrin starves the fortress (chelates iron). B. subtilis jams the signal (prevent new biofilm production). Thymoquinone disarms the soldiers (kills them). Myrrh hunts the sleepers. Binders catch what falls out. Killing is the easy part.

Sounds familiar. But as one will know, in my case especially, the wheels of justice may grind slow, but grind they will. jamaica-gleaner.com/article/news/2…

Life still goes on.

The Finish-Line Seizure: When “Drink More Water” Became the Danger She did not seize from dehydration. She seized from the opposite mistake: exercise-associated hyponatremia. ———————————————— During prolonged running the body releases antidiuretic hormone even when plasma is already dilute. The kidneys therefore hold onto free water. She ignored thirst and drank plain water at every station, steadily lowering the sodium concentration in her blood. Once serum sodium falls, water shifts by osmosis into brain cells. The early headache and vomiting were cerebral edema, not heat exhaustion or simple fluid loss. Her friends then repeated the error. Extra water without sodium diluted her further, swelling increased, and neurons fired abnormally—producing the seizure. This pattern is well documented in marathons and ultras: a minority of finishers who drink ahead of thirst develop symptomatic hyponatremia, sometimes severe enough for seizures, respiratory arrest, or death. Women are slightly over-represented, often because smaller body mass meets the same aggressive fluid advice. Thirst remains the safest real-time guide for most runners. Scheduled “drink at every stop” rules, born from older dehydration fears, can overshoot when sweat losses are moderate and ADH is high. Electrolyte drinks reduce but do not eliminate the risk if volume is excessive. Weight gain during a race is a red flag for fluid overload, not a sign of good hydration. The lesson is narrow and practical: mild thirst is protective; forced water is not. In endurance events, more fluid is not automatically safer. #MedTwitter #MedEd #AsianGames2026 @IhabFathiSulima @ajaykraina @mekarora @sowmiyasid

We spent decades teaching people that cancer is mostly bad luck, bad genes, or bad habits. Then you find out 2.3 million cases in a single year were attributable to infections.

Neurosurgeons deliver 7 cysts from patients brain. All are parasitic hydatid cysts. These can develop in other organs like the liver or even in bones. It’s very important to wash your hands after handling animals or in food prep. People get this from contamination of water or food with eggs found in dog poop.

JPS is so unhelpful, just spewing generic bullshit while giving the worse service to every fucking customer in Jamaica. Something has to be done man. Multiple power outages every month since June. Fuck me.

If all of this thunder creates excitement and it doesn’t rain today…

A old man was struggling at a ATM and he had signs of dementia. He said his daughter used to help him but she stopped visiting him 🥹 I helped Mr. Clark and made sure he finished his transaction. He hugged me and called me his daughter’s name. Check on your people!
