You’ve spent enough energy on the past; that’s not taking you anywhere. Kiss the disappointment goodbye. You can’t embrace the new things God has in store as long as you’re holding on to the old.

If you’re going to reach your potential, you’re going to have to fight through some things. You can’t have a weak, give up, or this is too hard spirit. You have to be more determined than what’s trying to stop you.

You have to walk by faith and not by sight. Keep expecting it. Keep talking like it’s going to happen, acting like it’s going to happen, thinking like it’s going to happen. Your faith is going to take you where you couldn’t go on your own.

God is saying, “Let me show you who I am. I’m not limited by time; I’m not affected by the economy. I’m not restricted by your age, your background, the opposition, by how long it’s been. I control the universe."

You may not understand it, but God wouldn’t have allowed it if it was going to stop your purpose. Don’t put a question mark where God put a period. Be inspired by this message from Joel, "Your Destiny Outweighs Your History". bit.ly/JOAPodcast

When you feel bombarded by doubt, fear, opposition, find someone full of faith that will stand in agreement with you. The scripture says, “One can chase a thousand, but two can put ten thousand to flight.” Check out "Ignore the Roar" on Podcast here! bit.ly/JOAPodcast

Start making decisions that honor God. Break away from things that are causing you to compromise and be less than your best. It’s not too late; you haven’t been off course too long. God has amazing things in your future if you’ll dare to arise.

The enemy wants us to think that we’re weak. If you think you’re strong, you’ll be strong. If you think you’re weak, you’re going to be weak. God wants you to begin to think, “I can do whatever I need to do through Christ who is my strength.” #JoyceQuote

The Bible says that God loves you unconditionally, so you can be sure that He does. He loves you on your not-so-good days just as much as He does on those days when you do a few good things. #JoyceQuote

God is saying, “Don’t worry. I’m going to give you strength that you’ve never had, ability that you’ve never seen, favor that will catapult you ahead.” God will never let you face a giant that you can’t overcome. He’ll never put a dream in your heart that you can’t accomplish.

Contentment doesn’t mean satisfied to the point where you never want change, but it means satisfied to the point where you’re not disturbed about where you’re at right now because God has a plan for you. He can do in a moment what we cannot do in a lifetime! #JoyceQuote

God accepts and approves you right where you are: faults, mistakes, shortcomings, and all. He knows you’re on a journey. He’s changing you little by little. He accepts you. Now, you have to accept yourself.

You don’t really ever get away from anything until you face it. You’ve got to face your fears to get rid of them. When David was dealing with Goliath, he didn’t run away from him. The Bible says, “He ran quickly toward the battle line.” #JoyceQuote

With new levels, there will be new devils. There will be giants on your land, opposition. It’s a spiritual battle. It is won with the sword of the spirit, with declaring God’s promises, with standing in faith, unwavering, unmoved.

When He puts a promise in your heart, don’t think of all the reasons it’s not going to work out. God doesn’t ask us to figure it out. All He asks is that we believe.

Receive His mercy; receive His forgiveness. Quit beating yourself up, living guilty, believing that you’ve seen your best days and you could never measure up. You don’t have to. When you can’t get up to His level, God stoops down to yours.

Take the pressure off. Your destiny is not contingent on people liking you. Their approval is not keeping you from your purpose. You don’t have to prove to them that you’re good enough. You’re already good enough. Be confident in who God made you to be.

Get your eyes off of people, off of your faults, and off of how you think you don’t measure up. You are approved, you are accepted, you are anointed. Now step into your destiny.

I like to say that God gives us “grace for our place.” Wherever God has you and whatever your circumstances are, He will give you grace – favor, power, ability – to do what He has for you to do. #JoyceQuote
