Joshua Michael found an access token on Flock's public website.
No login required. No authentication. Just sitting there.
He downloaded Flock's entire database. 300,000 device locations. 170,000 cameras. 130,000 other hardware units. 27,000 acoustic detectors.
Made a map. Published it September 23.
The Senate held a hearing on Flock the same day. Cited Michael's research.
Flock panicked.
Sent a cease-and-desist. Used a brand-protection vendor called Doppel to claim trademark infringement.
The map said it wasn't affiliated with Flock. Doppel didn't care.
Michael's site went dark.
Then Proton moved it to Swiss servers.
Now it lives on protonmcp.org. Untouchable. Uncensorable. Hosted by an encryption company in a country that doesn't care what Flock wants.
The irony is crystalline.
Flock left an access token on the internet. Michael used it to download their own data. Published it. Flock tried to suppress it.
Proton said suppressing it is suppressing information.
Which is true.
The map shows Flock has 150,000 more cameras than they publicly claimed.
Shows acoustic detection units mapping human speech across the country.
Shows which police departments have access to the whole network.
Flock doesn't want that visible.
So they tried trademark infringement.
Which only worked until Proton decided transparency matters more than Flock's feelings.
Now everyone can see exactly how many cameras are watching their car. Where they are. Which cops can see them.
Michael warned Flock about the exposed token in November 2025.
Flock ignored him.
Then got mad when he used it.
The surveillance company that claims to protect privacy just tried to suppress the only map showing how much they actually surveille.
And failed.
‼️ Proton is hosting a map of 300,000+ Flock surveillance device locations that Flock tried to get taken down.
Researcher Joshua Michael says he pulled them from Flock's own systems via a token left open to anyone.
Proton calls the takedown "an attempt to suppress information."
If someone from Somalia with a fake identity can serve in the United States Congress for years without getting caught, imagine still believing that illegals aren’t voting in U.S. elections.
In 1929, Victor Lustig, the smoothest con man of the early twentieth century and the man who would later sell the Eiffel Tower twice, took $50,000 of Al Capone's money promising to double it. He never invested a dime. He locked the cash in a safe, waited two weeks, handed it back with a story about deals that fell through, and Capone, moved by the honesty, gave him $5,000 for his trouble. The biographers call it the purest convincer ever recorded. Apparent honesty, invested at maximum stakes, collecting interest from the most dangerous man in America.
On October 19, Elon Musk announced he will give one SpaceX share to every child in America. Next year. "The first of many." The President confirmed the mechanism within hours. Trump Accounts, the same rails the Dell family used.
Take the headline at face value first, because the headline is doing the work. Seventy-three million kids at Friday's close of $146.03 comes to about $10.7 billion. Against his roughly 6.4 billion shares, that prices the gift at 1.1 percent of his stake. Sounds almost serious.
Now read the fine print, because the fine print is where the number actually lives. Nobody is handing stock to seventy-three million children. A parent has to opt in. An account has to be opened, a claim filed, a form signed. Programs of this shape never reach their ceiling; a strong result is a fraction of it. So the real cost is some unknown slice of $10.7 billion, plausibly a few billion dollars, well under half of one percent of his holdings, while the sentence everybody remembers says every child in America. Darrell Huff was not even a statistician. He was a magazine writer with a gift for spotting cooked numbers, and in 1954 he wrote the sharpest short course ever published on the subject, How to Lie with Statistics. One of his chapters covers the well-chosen average: one street, truthfully priced at ten thousand pounds by the mean and two thousand by the median, depending on which buyer the speaker wants to impress. A technically true number, selected for the size of its sound. "Every kid in America" is the mean. The opt-in registry is the median, and nobody is printing that one.
Watch what the sentence did anyway. Monday, the first trading day after he said it, SPCX closed at $147.96, up $1.93 a share. On his 6.4 billion shares, that single green candle added roughly $12.4 billion to his paper wealth. Even the ceiling version of the promise, the full $10.7 billion, was paid for before a single child was named. Daniel Simons and Christopher Chabris, the two psychologists who turned getting fooled into a laboratory science, call this the potency hook. We are suckers for big effects from small causes, and the bigger the magic, the less mechanism the mind demands. The sentence is the product. The shares are the coupon.
The route has been driven before, with the receipts public. The Dell family donated $6.25 billion of Dell stock into Trump Accounts. The President spent weeks telling Americans to buy Dell. The stock ran 14 percent. Then the disclosure: Trump himself had sold up to $1 million of Dell into the pump. SpaceX is only the second company to use the rule, and the first one's ledger is open. Doing it again, on camera, in front of everyone who watched the first time, is what an honest vocabulary calls a repeat con.
Earnings are after the close today. Announced Sunday, pumped Monday, earnings Tuesday. Same choreography as the Roadster barrel roll nine days earlier, the driverless flip that landed hours before Tesla's own earnings call.
The defenses arrived right on schedule, pre-cooked as always. "Liberals say the rich should share. A rich man shares. Liberals say it doesn't do anything." Nobody said it does nothing. The frame exists because the honest description cannot be memed: a fraction-of-one-percent marketing spend, self-funded in a day, routed through a government children's program, timed to an earnings call, on rails a documented pump already ran. Try drawing that as a crying cartoon. Daniel Kahneman, the psychologist who won a Nobel Prize for mapping how the mind actually decides, showed decades ago that belief comes first and reasons arrive afterward, hired as attorneys for the conclusion rather than judges of it. The meme does not answer the claim. It cross-examines the claimant.
Huff ended his book with five questions, and they still do the work. Who says so? How does he know? What's missing? Did somebody change the subject? Does it make sense? What is missing here is everything that would make the promise real: a date, a registry, a delivery mechanism for people who legally cannot hold stock. A man who has missed every production promise since 2017 is asking to be believed about a promise with no deadline at all.
Rolf Dobelli, a Swiss writer who cataloged ninety-nine thinking errors in his bestseller The Art of Thinking Clearly, has a chapter for exactly this maneuver. He calls it strategic misrepresentation, the planner's lie. The overpromise gets the project funded, and the truth gets it cancelled. "Next year" is not a date. "The first of many" is not a plan. It is the same lure re-cast, and re-casting the lure is the sport.
Then there is the part that outlasts the headlines. A child cannot touch that account for eighteen years. So the gift does not buy gratitude. It buys households. Every family holding one share becomes a family that hears skepticism as an attack on their kid's future. Benjamin Franklin worked this out with a borrowed book and a political enemy: do someone a favor, and the brain invents a reason to like him rather than admit the favor was a mistake. David McRaney, a journalist who spent two books cataloging self-delusion, wrote it up as the Benjamin Franklin effect. The trick now runs at population scale, through the federal government, on shares in a company where one man keeps about 82 percent of the votes. McRaney supplies a second entry too: the backfire effect, his name for what happens when a correction entrenches the belief it targets. Expect this piece to be screenshotted as proof of the obsession. That is the immune system doing its job.
The unpaid defense attorneys used to volunteer. Now they will be issued, at birth.
David Maurer was a linguist at the University of Louisville who spent years inside the confidence trade while it was still running, and he wrote its anatomy in 1940, The Big Con. He named the stages in the professionals' own argot, and one of them is the touch, the moment real money moves. If next year there is no share, there was never a date to miss. If there is a pilot, a program, a few thousand accounts, the headlines will have finished their work long before. Heads he wins, tails you were naive to count the children.
This is the touch, perfected for the index era. The money appears to move toward the mark. And the mark's own affection completes the circuit.
Hate to dox myself a bit but have worked on just about every fighter jet the US has. I have seen some impressive technology over my career but this is a whole other level. I have so many questions and need to know how this works. How much edge compute is needed to make this happen? My first thought is dual processor + 1TB ram. That way it can handle the fuckquintillion process per second. There was zero correction it nailed it 100%. x.com/Teslaconomics/…
This woman worked with the homeless in Maine. She’s so angry about what’s happening to her state she can’t even speak without getting mad
She says homeless are being flown into Maine to live off the system, “It’s a lifestyle” and the homeless have no requirements to do anything. They are just handed everything for free and can go out into the public and do whatever they want during the day
She says in additional to the homeless being flown into Maine to live off the government, Democrats on Maine are giving them everything they need to be drug addicts
It’s true, the homeless are being provides for free
- Sterile syringes, needles and injection supplies including cookers, cotton, tourniquets, etc
- Naloxone (Narcan)
- Fentanyl and xylazine test strips so users can check their supply before injecting or using
- “Boofing” kits which are needleless syringes, lubricant packets, saline tins and wipes for rectal administration of drugs
- Wound care supplies
- Safer-sex materials
- Free ongoing methadone and Suboxone programs (The woman says these programs are being abused)
Here are documented nonprofits and programs that pay for travel for the homeless
- Portland, Oregon’s Portland Solutions. Officials have explicitly mentioned sending people to Maine
- San Francisco’s Homeward Bound and Journey Home programs. These are city programs that have relocated thousands of homeless people out of the city by bus or other means to destinations across the United States
- There are For-profit “human brokers” in the addiction treatment industry where they take the homeless and send them to other states to get paid for enrolling them into treatment program. There are TONS of companies getting paid to do this
There are even medical facilities in California, Florida and all over that pay companies for referral fees for thousands of new patients every month
It’s a giant homeless industrial complex and it will only keep growing unless the money is cut off
"I’ve dealt with this little fucker... He’s tricky. He’s like the special-needs child for the Europeans. And he’s acting like Mr Bean on crack.”
- US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent warning Trump against Zelensky
THERE IS A METHOD TO TRUMP’S MADNESS, AND THE DEMOCRATS AND RINOS STILL HAVEN’T FIGURED IT OUT!
I’ve spent 35 years in business, and I learned a long time ago that you don’t negotiate from weakness. You establish leverage, make the other fellow uncomfortable, and never let him know exactly how far you’re willing to go.
Trump understands that. Democrats and RINOs don’t.
Look at the evidence.
PANAMA: Trump says America ought to take back the Panama Canal. The media loses its mind. Suddenly Panama is pulling away from China’s Belt and Road Initiative, and Chinese influence around the canal is under serious pressure. Trump changed the conversation without firing a shot.
GREENLAND: Trump talks about acquiring Greenland. Europe calls him crazy. Suddenly Denmark is increasing defense spending, and everybody is taking Arctic security seriously. Greenland sits in a strategically vital location with valuable resources, and Trump understands its importance.
CANADA: Trump starts talking about making Canada the 51st state. The Canadians panic, their politicians scramble, and trade negotiations take center stage. Canada depends heavily on the American market, and Trump knows exactly who holds the stronger hand.
NATO: For decades, American taxpayers carried an enormous share of Europe’s defense burden while wealthy nations failed to pay their fair share. Trump threatens to change the arrangement, and suddenly NATO countries agree to a 5% defense and security spending target by 2035, up from the old 2% benchmark.
FOUR DIFFERENT SITUATIONS. ONE STRATEGY.
Make an extraordinary demand. Put the other side on the defensive. Establish leverage. Force negotiations. Get concessions.
That’s not madness. That’s Business 101.
Sometimes you ask for ten because you need five. Sometimes you threaten to walk away because the other fellow needs the deal more than you do. And sometimes you make a demand so big that what you actually want suddenly looks reasonable.
Is Trump perfect? Absolutely not. But I’d rather have a president negotiating from strength than another career politician apologizing while America gets taken advantage of.
The Democrats and RINOs are full of people who’ve never made a payroll, never personally guaranteed a business loan, and never suffered the consequences of a bad business decision. Trump comes from a different world.
I’ve always believed in peace through strength. Your enemies don’t have to like you, but they had better respect you.
The Democrats and RINOs judge Trump by what he says. I judge him by what he accomplishes.
They call him unpredictable because they can’t figure him out. They call him dangerous because they can’t control him. And they call him crazy because they don’t understand his strategy.
NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE MAN SITTING ACROSS THE TABLE.
Trump isn’t playing their game. He’s making them play his.
Sometimes what looks like madness to a fool is simply a strategy he isn’t smart enough to understand.
And after all these years, they STILL haven’t figured it out.
Vote Republican to give Trump time to finish his work!
It must absolutely eat liberals alive watching Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Jensen Huang, Michael Dell, Mark Zuckerberg, and so many of the greatest minds in technology and innovation working with Donald Trump.
These are the people building the future. The innovators. The visionaries. The people who have transformed the modern world.
I can't remember another president bringing together this kind of extraordinary brainpower to advance America's future.
And they've all embraced the vision of Donald Trump, the very man Democrats have spent years telling us is an existential threat to America.
Talk about poetic justice.
And I'm enjoying every minute of it.
America…
1 trillionaire
989 billionaires
Take all their assets you get $8.4 trillion.
$8.4 trillion once.
Then its gone.
We spend $7 trillion a year.
1/2 is fraud.
So commie Dems who want to tax the rich dont want to fix anything.
They want to control everything.
Facts.
