It's a high stress job. Your every movement tracked. Repetitive tasks. No slack. Dealing with the public. No future rewards or status or career building. The most stressful jobs I've had were low skilled jobs and the least stressful places are higher level white collar jobs.
You can make $70k a year working at Panda Express — a low stress job that requires very little education/skills. Instead of seeing that as a fantastic backup plan, low agency people are whining about the lack of prestige. They want exactly what they want handed to them on a
