A question for @TfLTPH please. If I book a taxi on an app is it part of their licence requirements that I should receive details of the driver, such as name, type of taxi/reg number & contact details as opposed to an anonymous driver turning up with no such prior information?

Those that are tweeting that @UTAG17 will lose the taxi trade a work source are incredibly ignorant. Stop and think about it.. If the booking on FreeNow is illegal or PH drivers ply for hire, the most likely outcome is that FreeNow will revert back to taxi only! You're welcome.
