The General Medical Council tasked with regulating medicine can not, and apparently does not need to, define 'practicing medicine' in order to carry out its duties in regulating the practice of medicine. There is no commentary I can give on this absurdity.
The fight continues, but I for one am tired.

@alwaysawallace @RCoA You have been sold a con, the false reality has ended. To become an anaesthetist, and do the work of one, you need to go to medical school, and then complete the requisite training, totalling nearly two decades. There are no shortcuts, as you will be in charge of lives.
@alwaysawallace @RCoA I'm going to theatre for surgery under GA on Monday. As a patient, I think 'what's best for me' is being under the care of anaesthetists. An AA being responsible would terrify me. Most patients would feel as I do. What's best for you isn't best for us. You were sold a lie.
The feet are fundamentally level, but the Danish attacker is punished for pointing his toes towards goal, which is his job. The idea that the angle of his foot and a tiny toe overhang give him an unfair advantage is absurd.
If you justify this decision you are an enemy of football. VAR has to go, the laws have to become more lenient on offside. The game is finished as we knew it.

@john_brittenden @gmcuk @TheBMA The GMC is also monopolistic and without scrutiny, which is a very dangerous combination because as long as doctors exist, their income and exorbitant salaries are guaranteed and they can do everything with impunity. Even monopolies like water companies have more accountability.
