"Fuimos a Japón. Teníamos un presupuesto de varios millones de dólares para convertir a todo el país al islam.
En seis años sólo logramos convertir a una persona, y ni siquiera era japonesa."
What made the British Empire the dominate naval and commercial force in the world was not controlling all the land masses on the globe, but controlling the key maritime chokepoints.
English Channel, Gibraltar, Malta, Suez, Cape of Good Hope, Aden, Hormuz & Singapore.
We are learning that lesson again today, as maritime chokepoints are now being contested.

Get a Raspberry Pi 5.
Or a Windows mini PC. Or a spare laptop you don't use anymore.
Or literally any computer that doesn't cost more than the TV you're trying to block.
Install Docker.
Pull the Pi-hole image.
Point your router's DNS to that device's IP address.
Now every DNS request on your network gets intercepted.
LG TV tries to call home to LG Ad Solutions.
Pi-hole sees it. Blocks it.
TV gets nothing.
Stores nothing. Sends nothing.
The fingerprints just stop.
But here's the part nobody mentions.
You now run your own DNS server.
You're the ISP of your own home network.
You see every domain request everything tries to reach.
Your phone. Your laptop. Your smart fridge.
All of it flows through your Pi-hole.
LG's servers? Blocked.
Amazon's trackers? Blocked.
Google's ad network? Blocked.
But now you're staring at the list of what's trying to reach where.
And it's a lot.
It's always a lot.
Your TV tried to phone home 47 times in four hours.
Your kid's gaming console hit 200 different ad servers.
Your thermostat wants to talk to three cloud services.
Running a Pi-hole isn't fixing privacy.
It's just showing you exactly how much your devices violate it.
Then letting you decide whether to care.
Most people see the list and turn it off.
Ignorance was cheaper than knowledge.
@cyber_razz You can stop that finger printing with a pi hole server hosted on a windows mini pc, spare laptop or a raspberry pi 5 + docker.

A Chinese military attaché handed a Philippine defense secretary a note rejecting a 2016 legal ruling. He read it out loud to the whole room and took it apart line by line.
At the Seoul Defense Dialogue on September 8, Philippine Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro was speaking on a panel about South China Sea coercion when staff handed him a note. It came from a Chinese military attaché in the audience. The note repeated Beijing's usual line: the 2016 Permanent Court of Arbitration ruling, the one that struck down China's nine-dash line claims, is "illegal, null and void" and doesn't count.
Teodoro read it out loud, then responded point by point. When the note said the ruling violated international law, he asked if that meant UNCLOS itself violated international law. When it said China doesn't accept the ruling, he replied flatly: "Of course, because you lost." He also called out how the note was delivered, anonymously, mid-panel, in front of the South Korean hosts, saying China had "thrown UNCLOS to the floor and trampled upon it." Switching to Filipino, he added: "mahiya naman kayo" (have some shame).
He said he'd keep the note "as a memento of how desperate China is," and joked he hoped the attaché wouldn't "suffer in a gulag" for passing it. The room applauded.
