"Iso" - short for isolation; clearing out an area for a one on one, usually resulting in a bucket Ex. We ran iso to Cooper all the time.
"Stick" - v. To be able to guard, to hold, to guard Ex. He can't stick you, take himto the rack!
"Balling out" - to show significant skills; being a level higher than the competition being played Ex. I was balling out on every level.
"Lock down D" - defense that does not let the offense score Ex. We put lock down D on them and they didn't score the second half!
New Terminology: #Ballingham - The Act of displaying Exceptional Basketball Ability with an Abundance of Artistry.
"Struttin" - the act done by a defender after having a move performed on him that nearly broke his ankles Ex. I had that guy struttin man!
"Posterized" - being dunked on and completely humiliated Ex. Blake got totally posterized by Pau.
"Handles" - good ball handling skills that can get you by any defender Ex. That guard has such good handles I hope I dont have to guard him
"Euro Step" - usually used on the fast break taking one step on one side of the defender then taking another on the other side for the layup
"Threetar" - the instrument played after hittin consecutive three pointers Ex. Did you see Jake playing the threetar after that last three?
"Cookies" - the ball that is taken from the offensive player Ex. Oh he stole your cookies!
"Wetball" - a shot that is inevitably going in Ex. *shot goes up by best three point shooter on team* "Wetball!!"
"Clutch" - having the ability to make key plays at the end of the game Ex. I hit that buzzerbeater three, I was so clutch.
"Through the mousetrap" - sending the ball through the defenders legs in the blow by Ex. @CP3 went through the mousetrap twice on Chris Bosh
"The lab" - wherever you put in work to enhance your skill set Ex. Feeling good after spending all day in the lab.
"To get buckets" - the uncanny ability to be a prolific scorer A person must be born with it. Ex. @UncIeDrew_ gets buckets.
"Bounce" - having the ability to jump very high Ex. Damn, that white boy got bounce!
