Men who abuse women physically, emotionally or mentally are often some of the nicest, friendliest men you will ever met. A lot of them are funny, polite, helpful, respected and extremely good at making everyone else feel comfortable. That is why people struggle to believe the woman when she finally speaks. They say, "but he has always been so nice to me". And that's exactly the point.
Fire signs You keep crossing paths with people who try to humble you, compete with you, or make you question your own light. A lot of it comes from them not being comfortable with your growth. They don’t like seeing you break old patterns, accomplish more, or become someone stronger than the version of you they remember. Some people are still judging you based on who you used to be or what they last saw you go through, without realizing you’re constantly evolving. You’re not the same person you were a year ago, six months ago, or even yesterday. You learn, reflect, change your mindset, and keep moving differently. Your growth can trigger people because it forces them to see parts of themselves they haven’t healed yet.
Men don’t actually admire good men. They mock them. Treat your girlfriend well? Simp. Take care of your appearance? Gay. Show emotional maturity? Weak. Meanwhile, genuinely toxic men get endless excuses bc bad men lower the standard for everyone else. If being decent becomes “cringe,” average men no longer have to improve.
