Today I had the privilege to encounter Aldabra Tortoises for the first time in my life !! Those creatures and one the most gentle giants have been existing in this form for over 230 million years, making them a true living fossil of our natural heritage!

You can’t just ‘snap out of it’ when you have depression and hearing you say that is harmful. It shows you have no understanding and don’t care enough to understand. No matter how hard you try to fight the thoughts, the darkness completely consumes you, feels like no way out.

I also need to add - having #BPD DOES NOT mean that you are manipulative, a liar, or an attention seeker. Again it is a TRAUMA response and if you want additional education, there's actually amazing books on this in which you can purchase.. you can even go to your local library
