Spoke to #LUFC James Justin today, late PM, supermarket shopping. He is a really nice intelligent guy who was positive about the squad, fans, Farke and the Leeds area, very positive. He confirmed he was fit but also stated Bogle was included in team training today, great news.

Looking at #LUFC Okafor his success at RB Salzburg mainly came as a CF or RW. He was v good. Milan bought him and moved him in as LW. He has been OK but not as successful. He appears to need an arm around him too.

Hakim Ziyech, 32yo is still a free agent but is it a desperate option? His pace is now questionable and like some of the other forwards #LUFC signed this TW, can struggle with injuries. He did average just over 45m in 21 games but in the Saudi league. It's barrel scraping.

Sunderland net spend according to the BBC, is £118m. #LUFC is £91m. A 'Brobbey' difference. Sunderland have been excellent at managing and developing young players they can move on for a significant profit year after year. It's an area where Leeds need to work harder.

Deli Ali, Brownhill and maybe even ex Spurs/MUFC, Eriksen are all available in the free market. It highlights a high degree of desperation but sadly #LUFC recruitment has failed to provide Farke with the necessary tools. It's a failure that could cost if they don't act quickly.

At this late stage, if #lufc sign either Buendia and Solomon, either on loan or permanent is abject failure. These key positions, opening up defences should have been sorted earlier. More players with long injury records, Leeds will be stuck with, do they never learn.

I believe #lufc will sign at least 1 player and possibly 2. However, if they do not bring in more creativity it will be classed as abject failure by the recruitment dept/49ers. I suspect 1 loan and 1 purchase incoming but I have everything crossed. Buendia, that would be poor?

I am panicking a little bit with #lufc present TW activity. I am a big advocate that a big chunk of TW biz is done in the last 7 days. Leeds did bring in Tanaka and Solomon in the last 48 hours of last summer TW. I want to be astounded on Monday but the lack of noise is a worry

2) The Athletic in May, stated, a need to go for old targets or top C/ship players would highlight #LUFC inability to secure their principle targets. Essentially its 2nd best now. The 49ers should have been strong, offloaded Piroe, Gruev, Aaronson and others to boost TW £ pot.

1) Sadly, I feel the last few days of the TW will underline the failure of the 49ers with the #LUFC transfer policy. I expect to see Buendia signed on loan with the insult of an obligation. Hamer - A straight purchase. Buonanotte - A loan, if we are lucky.

DF #lufc has traditionally struggled to break down a team in a low block. If DF believes Piroe is the answer to open up a low block or any defence, he is so wrong. The 49ers need to dig deep, unload a few of last seasons c/ship performers and invest in a top PL quality AMF .

That is the worst #lufc performance I have witnessed under DF. No fight or desire to battle, slow ponderous play. Why the hell Gruev was needed, was beyond me. Piroe was terrible but not the only one. Okafor's performance was a worry, but it is early for him.

Tzolis set up 2 assists for Brugge away at Rangers last night. A quality winger I would have liked #lufc to look at. Okafor has more ability but Leeds clearly appreciate his injury weaknesses, I just hope when he is fit he shows the necessary desire. He can do it though.

BHAFC, Wolves, and AFCB still have big money to spend on transfers, following strong sales of top players. The rest in the bottom 2 thirds of the table are tighter on PSR. Like NFFC/Villa selling Elanga + Ramsey, clubs like WHUFC may need to sell key assets to buy players. #lufc

Gnonto played well last night but there are times he needs to be braver and trust his own abilities and act quicker. He had one great opportunity to play in Piroe for a tap in but he dithered and the chance was lost. That is the difference between the PL and C/ship. #lufc

Up to the point where Ampadu suffered that horrible tackle by Everton MF Iroegbunam he was clearly my MOTM. After that tackle Tanaka stepped up and Stach maintained his high standard. It's tough to split them to give one #lufc MOTM. The defenders were excellent too. Decisions!

Impressed by #lufc tonight, especially in the 1st half. Some great 1 + 2 touch football. Ampadu, Stach and Tanaka ran the MF and we were solid in defence. The squad still needs some additional quality to enable the team to kick on and push well beyond 17th. A good start though.

Okafor injury record is a massive concern, too many rumours of failed medicals to be overjoyed. However, if he didn't have those injury problems #lufc would never get near him, he would be a top 6 player. Solomon provided similar concerns but Leeds managed him well.
