Hi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some asshole blocks it.
@1capplegate Sending you lots of hugs Christina. As someone w/ MS who is fortunate to be somewhat of an outlier in not experiencing relapses so my condition has remained about the same — far less than great, but could be a lot worse — I know you are one tough cookie! I’m rooting for you! ♥️
@1capplegate I've always loved your work. Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead is one of my favorites. You mean alot to alot of people Christina. Things will get better. My family is deeply connected to the film industry. We've always respected you. I certainly have. God speed to better days.
@1capplegate Thank you for sharing this. My stepmother has had MS for 8+ years & witnessing her journey has been humbling. Here in the UK there isn't huge public awareness of MS so you putting it out there with humour is very much appreciated 🙂
@1capplegate Girl, sending you a big bear hug.
@1capplegate I appreciate & admire you for posting this. My mom has MS - was diagnosed 18 years ago. It has been, as you said, a journey. Education & love have been our greatest allies. My thoughts are with you & your fam.
@1capplegate It is a brave announcement and you have the solidarity of millions of devoted fans.
@1capplegate I know health problems are deeply personal so I admire u so much for helping your fans & the world understand the health issues u have confronted so bravely. Thank u.
@1capplegate Take good care and live healthy. I've had #MultipleSclerosis since the late 1980s. I wouldn't wish it on anyone but rarely is it fatal. Make wise decisions and get second and third opinions before you let the #pharmaceutical industry control you. 🤗
@1capplegate Diagnosed 20 years ago and living my best life with it. Stay in the present. Every person experiences their own illness differently no matter the diagnosis. Take the best care of yourself.
