But Again, Again @36shotput

@Zhane_Star I think the disconnect is over the definition of "racist phase". I think there's a very important difference between "having a racist *phase*" and "being/growing up racist", and one of them is more "justifiable" than the other.

@Vinsmoke_V13 There is a cute girl you have a chance of running into at the end of the Beat on the Brat storyline. Sadly there are basically no child characters in the story proper and all the child NPCs are sorta just squashed adults.

@kaizmos the problem here was your therapist didn't have an accurate indication of just how plausible it was to happen, which isn't the fault of the therapy type itself. Maybe your therapist just wasn't curious enough

@mjorp252916 And right wing lolicons aren't?

@driftingin2014 @Kyomoto_lover23 @ritostime Commercial fanart is already illegal! It's just not litigated because that's social suicide. Commercial fanfiction on the otherhand has a long history of quite brutal litigation. The Pandora's box you're suggesting this application of the law would open has been open for years.

@driftingin2014 @Kyomoto_lover23 @ritostime "clamoring to keep IP" implies that AI's stated goal is to destroy IP law... somehow. I've yet to see any indication that IP law is in any real danger as a result of AI. We want IP law to be evenly applied whether to independent creators or large companies.

@driftingin2014 @Kyomoto_lover23 @ritostime Then--again--any definition of working class that includes such a person is functionally useless in 2026. Harping on which rigid boxes people go into rather than the material conditionals of their lives misses the forest for the trees.

@driftingin2014 @Kyomoto_lover23 @ritostime This is immaterial to the point. He could divest every business he had and still has made more money than most people will ever see in their lifetime. Would you prefer I used Meryl Streep instead?

@driftingin2014 @Kyomoto_lover23 @ritostime Robert Downey Jr provides a service (acting in a film) to a studio (owners of capital) for a flat fee. In that capacity, he is (by your definition) performing working class labor. What am I missing here? Assuming income isn't relevant to the definition and all

@driftingin2014 @Kyomoto_lover23 @ritostime Any definition of working class which includes Robert Downey Jr. is not one that has any utility in 2026

@R0dchenko @AntoG505 @Quaziishevik This sounds like when some conflict happens and communists support Russia because on paper it is the more communist or anti-West of the combatants, regardless of what they're actually doing. Just because IP law is bad doesn't mean the way AI abuses it for profit is a non-issue

@neongumwdc I don't think I've ever seen a European make the actual kids in question the butt of the joke so unless you're against making jokes about any and all dark topics I don't see the problem

@zodiacmustdie @wrought_online Because simply put his goal has never been "inform as many people around me that I sexually assaulted someone". But it's a bit weird to imply now "he's keeping this a secret" when there's been no attempt to conceal it. Also, it's likely he has a video in the works to explain it

@ChurchOfMoons @yallidiotsuh How do you know that they specifically targeted the fic due to the notes? And I think by calling them "porn addicts" you're already acting in bad faith so don't be surprised to invite people who don't take the story at face value especially because this really makes no sense

@wrought_online @prostatefagcel He didn't hide his crime from anyone who mattered: in this case, the victim (and you could say his wife).

@bgone_b @beebeelunaw @ABC I think in the grand scheme one girl dying being the thing to end the barbaric practice of capital punishment is a fair trade, and I'm sure that girl is living it up in heaven anyway. Mysterious ways and all that (and I'm being entirely sincere wrt God as a concept here)

I think writing pronouns on it after the fact while working at a notoriously Christian company needlessly invites tension and is a tactless move but to the folks saying they "vandalized company property" are you listening to yourselves

At work, we got these cute werewolf scarecrows. They put one up by the registers and gave it a mini work apron. One night I wrote pronouns under the name. I didn't see it for a while so I assumed they took the apron off or it sold. Nope. They moved it and removed the pronouns.
