After 4.5 years and 200 classes, we arrive at the sacred conclusion of the Uddhava Gītā. Having had all darkness dispelled by the brilliant sun of Lord Kṛṣṇa's association, Uddhava asks only how to keep undeviating love for His lotus feet. What follows is one of the most touching farewells in the entire Vedic canon: Lord Kṛṣṇa instructs Uddhava to assimilate this wisdom in Badarīkāśrama, and Uddhava, weeping tears of transcendental love, places the slippers of his master upon his head and departs with the Lord held forever in his heart. youtu.be/ZFsJ3msJcc4

New Uddhava Gita Class! Here, Krishna reveals who is truly qualified to receive this supreme wisdom, making it clear that genuine devotion transcends social status, ritualistic qualifications, and worldly titles. He explains that one who tastes this ultimate nectar never thirsts again. While humanity tirelessly seeks fulfillment, wealth, and liberation through analytical intellect, rituals, politics, and mystic powers, the devotee attains everything effortlessly simply through pure surrender to the Supreme. youtu.be/sGQILkLQgBk

@ProfGrewal Absolute garbage.

I just took part in a touching Zoom call with devotees to say goodbye to Drutakarma Prabhu (Michael Cremo), a senior disciple of Srila Prabhupada who is in his final days. Many of you may know him from his groundbreaking bestseller, Forbidden Archeology. He stayed with me at Pandavas Paradise years ago when I organized his talks in the Chapada and Brasília, and I have very fond memories of our time together. We even attended a hippie festival nearby; he was amazed by the spirit of it, laughing that he hadn’t felt that authentic vibe since the original hippie movement in the US. Seeing how much age and illness have worn down his body was heartbreaking, but seeing everyone surround him with prayers and love was a powerful reminder of what truly endures.

BTW, if you haven't read the book, I HIGHLY recommend it. That and her Nuclear War book. Amazing and very important.

Two months after Annie Jacobsen’s *Biological War: A Scenario* imagined an accidental release of pneumonic plague from a high-security lab in Siberia, a researcher at Russia’s Anti-Plague Institute in Shelekhov, near Irkutsk, is dead of pneumonia of “unknown” origin. Local officials have said it was possibly plague. Moscow says the situation is stable and contacts have tested negative. The book’s accident is at Vector, near Novosibirsk, and the pathogen is a fictional engineered strain drawn from the old Soviet program. This is a different institute. The rhyme is still hard to ignore: a plague lab, a dead worker, a slow official account, and a disease that, in its pneumonic form, spreads person to person. Not a forecast of Shelekhov. A reminder of what secrecy plus a lab-acquired lung infection has looked like before.

New Uddhava Gita Class! Nearing the end of the Uddhava Gita, Krishna reveals the immense benefits of transcendental knowledge: ending all doubt, purifying the heart, and freeing the soul. But alongside these promises comes a blunt warning to never share this wisdom with certain types of people. When you examine Krishna’s criteria, namely no hypocrisy, genuine faith, humility, and sincerity, an uncomfortable reality emerges: the cynicism, pride, and material obsessions of the modern mind leave almost everyone today disqualified.

Another brilliant piece from @natbrunell. I highly recommend it. This is what we need to fix our governments and society.

✨ I just posted this really nice video on how to find your dharma, your purpose, in life. This is a nice one to help you find your path and to share with others. youtu.be/yR1l7PwBSWg

New Uddhava Gita Class! We often think of spiritual life as an act of passive belief or world-denying renunciation. But in the Vedic tradition, true devotion is described as the pinnacle of human intellect, the ultimate strategy for living. In this class, we explore a transformative sequence of teachings that redefines what it means to be truly clever. Check it out: youtu.be/Iv6EcTTvsU4

@JesusPlazaX One of my all time favorites too. Awesome movie.

Today is the most sacred day of Radhastami! A celebration of pure transcendental love. youtube.com/shorts/kGxZmf5…

In my latest video, I dive into why trying to transcend through sheer mind control and intellectual effort eventually runs out of steam. We are emotional souls so we need love to thrive. That’s why Bhakti Yoga truly works. Check out my explanation. Watch here: youtu.be/jetFQlNWdGc

New Uddhava Gita Class! In this class, we’ll finalize what Krishna considers the "best possible method of spiritual enlightenment." This is not a meditative retreat; it is a radical change in perception. Krishna challenges us to give up our "bodily conception" and embarrassment, and to see Him, the all-pervading Personality of Godhead, within every living being. Even going so far as to recommend we “should offer obeisances before all — even the dogs, outcastes, cows and asses — falling flat upon the ground like a rod.” Would you do that? youtu.be/nl4U9S7eu2A

Happy Janmashtami! Today we celebrate the day Krishna arrived on Earth, more than 5,000 years ago. May Krishna bless us all with jnana, bhakti, and ananda — wisdom, devotion, and love. ✨

New Uddhava Gita Class! Where is God, and how can we actually perceive Him in our daily lives? It is an age-old question asked by seekers across every generation: If the Divine is truly present, why is it so difficult to see Him? youtu.be/QReGgEdKb0A

Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary

New Uddhava Gita Class! This class was intended to cover multiple verses, but we spent the entire session doing a foundational deep dive into just one powerful instruction from Lord Krishna (Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, Uddhava Gita 11.29.9). This verse contains the essential DNA of bhakti yoga. If we understand this, we understand the entire process. I explain the very foundations of bhakti, the core practices and concepts and why it has such a powerful effect on our state of being. youtu.be/Pf9JU3Yng48

Tragic flooding, shocking scenes. 😥We go through life making big plans, forgetting that we are all at the jaws of death. We can die at any moment. Plan accordingly.
