Silence and Prophecy. Sometimes the key to the fulfillment of prophecy is silence. There’s power in proclamation but there’s also power in silence. Do you know one thing that “having done all to stand” means? Well let me tell you. Sometimes you have said all, shouted all, declared all, preached it and done all and yet nothing happens. At that time it becomes difficult to carry on believing. It might be time to draw on the resources of silence. Elijah said “the Lord before whom I stand.” Well what happened? Having faithfully done all in and out of wicked king Ahab’s presence he collapsed into a depression chamber because Jezebel was after his life. He even asked to die thinking he was the only prophet remaining. His emotions cratered. Have you been there before? “Once has He spoken and twice have I heard that power belongs to God...” “In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” “Be quick to hear and slow to speak” Some prophecies become easily contested and delayed because we talk too much. True Prophecy is not necessarily formulated but it respect discipline in deference to the Divine. You cannot finish in the flesh what you started in the spirit. It is more than sufficient that He that comes from above is above all. Is it time to enter a season of silence over one thing and head on to the next assignment while waiting for fulfillment? We can discern these things because the “spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet.” It is the prophets of Baal who must beat and cut themselves with lances drawing their own blood as preliminary offering. It is their ilk who must become hoarse as a ritualistic rule, they must without fail ululate, and gyrate mindlessly with familiar spirits to appease Baal. We are not so called. Silence has its own sound. Learn when it is time to be quiet. ⛽️🔥 This is fuel. Run with it!!

unless you’re naturally a music lover, no one warns you how you’ll become less interested with new music the older you get, & you just go back to all your old favorite songs

Two years ago, you had problems you don't even remember. But it seemed like such a big deal at the time, didn't it? And yet... here you are. This, too, shall pass. 🫵🏼🫵🏼🫵🏼

Drove for 30mins to go see someone who had a terrible week at work. All through the ride, we were on the call as she was lamenting bitterly, she wasn’t aware of my destination. Got to the doorstep and switched to video call. Never seen a smile so bright.
