🆘Help Please! 🆘 Being a small rescue is tough. Being a small rescue in need is tough. We get asked pretty frequently why we always need donations and to be honest I am always blown away by that. We have over 70 animals in our care. That means in foster homes, in boarding, and on a property that we rent. That means we have 70 mouths to feed every single day. Just the monthly feed bill is over $3000 a month, that doesn’t include treats, toys, cleaning supplies, enrichment equipment, boarding fees, vet visits, medicine refills, monthly preventatives, rent, electricity, water, transport fees or the emergency situations that always always pop up. Monthly expenses to run LHRR are over $10k a month and that’s on the low end. Plus we have a move coming up that we HAVE to make. The property we are on is being sold, so we have to relocate. So yes, we do always need donations. If rescues cannot keep up with their monthly expenses, they cannot save more animals, they have to close. We don’t want to close, we want to keep rescuing. We want to keep saving lives, but we need you the public and donations to do that. Please, please, please, if you can donate to LHRR, a small but mighty rescue that takes on the hardest cases, that stands behind their animals no matter what, that helps whenever possible, we would be profoundly grateful. It’s becoming a dire situation and we need you, please. Donate: linktr.ee/laylasheartran…
