Btw, I do not like Ranked Choice Voting. 1) RCV takes too long to determine results which does not inspire confidence in elections. 2) There are better options. Approval Voting and Star Voting are superior. Sad that the MN legislature is not including these options.

Btw, I do not like Ranked Choice Voting. 1) RCV takes too long to determine results which does not inspire confidence in elections. 2) There are better options. Approval Voting and Star Voting are superior. Sad that the MN legislature is not including these options.

@Jaywatches2 Similar. Basically you rate candidates from 0-5 stars based on your favorability of them. The two highest rated candidates then advance to a runoff election, which works like a typical 1-on-1 election.
As governor, I would look to incorporate STAR Voting statewide for all elections. Here is how STAR Voting works.
Vote for one candidate only and the candidate with the most votes wins. It seems simple, and it works fine in elections with only two candidates, but the problem is that if there are three or more candidates Choose One Plurality voting breaks. equal.vote/problem
