In first grade we read several stories about how to help turkeys from being roasted on Thanksgiving. We decided to make our own turkey decoys to save the turkeys! @AnnvilleElem

4th grade also worked on a Storybook STEM activity. After reading, The Creepy Carrots they had to design and build a fence using only baby carrots and toothpicks. It was amazing to watch the designs created and the teamwork that occurred. @AnnvilleElem

Last week 3rd grade listened to the story "After the Fall"-- a new take on the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty where Humpty overcomes his fears and soars to new heights. We then used perserverance and teamwork to create paper airplanes which like Humpty soared high @AnnvilleElem
