Good News! Dr. Castro was able to completely fix Koda's jaw and not only is she doing really well but she was actually able to eat on her own last night! That means that Koda was able to go back home to her family where they can continue to care for her as she recovers.
We are deeply saddened that someone would do something like this to such a sweet animal. Animal cruelty is something we cannot stand for. If you see something make sure to report it. Not all animals get to be as lucky as Koda.
This is a picture of what poor Koda's jaw looked like when he came to us. The cause of his broken jaw was from external blunt force trauma not inflicted by Koda's family.
This sweet little dog here is Koda Yeager. Poor Koda came to us today with a broken jaw. All of us at The Animal Clinic of Edgewater would like to thank the anonymous donor that stepped forward and paid for Koda's surgery so that we could get this little guy all better again.
Just a reminder that we'll be closed on 7/4/2019. Wishing you and your pets a safe and happy fourth!

Last week we posted about a fundraiser that we were supporting. It was for Lisa Johnson and her dog Brutus who were both rescued from a house fire. Today was the first re-check of Brutus and he's doing much better. They could still use donations though! facebook.com/AnimalClinicof…
If everyone could please take a moment to look at our Facebook page and read about a fundraiser that we are supporting we would appreciate it! facebook.com/AnimalClinicof…
It's definitely a #HappyFriday for the lost dog, Katie, that we told you about earlier on this week because she's been found and returned to her owner!
Lost Dog! Please share this with as many people as possible! Katie is an older dog she's kind of got gray around her muzzle. She has had a history of bad skin. She went missing Friday night. She's a very sweet dog! She's a little overweight too and has some fatty bumps.
