🚨 Leandro Paredes speaking on the clash with Gavi after the World Cup final: 🗣️: “Gavi came over after the final whistle while everyone was celebrating. He saw me and said in Spanish that No referee or VAR to help Messi today, I didn’t appreciate it. It was disrespectful, especially after the match had already ended. “I walked up to him and punched him on the face. I wasn’t going to stand there and let a kid speak about Messi like that. After that, everything escalated. Players from both teams rushed in, there was pushing, shouting, and everyone was trying to defend their teammates. “These things happen when emotions are running high after a World Cup final. I’m not proud that it turned into a confrontation, but I wasn’t going to let someone disrespect Messi without responding.”

No entienden nada, gente.

🚨 “Absolute Nonsense — Everyone Knows Who the Best Was” — Jürgen Klopp on Golden Ball Debate 🎙️ Jürgen Klopp🗣️“I have to say, this is absolute nonsense. From the very start of the tournament, everyone knew who the top man was. It’s been the biggest talking point all through the World Cup.” “I honestly don’t understand what Rodri did to deserve the Golden Ball ahead of Lionel Messi.” “You’re talking about a 39-year-old player scoring 8 goals and giving 4 assists in a World Cup — outscoring players who are in their prime. That’s not normal, that’s special.” “The only player who scored more was Kylian Mbappé, and we all know what level he is at.” “But Messi — he was there in every important moment. Winning games, being decisive, man of the match performances, carrying his country all the way to another final.” “And then you tell me he is not the best player of the tournament? For me, that is totally unfair.” “Sometimes football gives you decisions you just cannot explain… and this is one of them.”

Ángel Di María on Lionel Messi missing out on the Best Player of the Tournament award to Rodri. 🗣️ “I’ve shared a dressing room with Lionel Messi for almost two decades, and I can say this without hesitation: what FIFA did is one of the most disrespectful decisions I’ve ever seen in football.” “At 39 years old, Leo wasn’t surviving at this World Cup he was leading it. He carried Argentina, decided the biggest matches, inspired every player around him and proved, once again, why he’s the greatest footballer in history. If that’s not the tournament’s best player, then I honestly don’t know what is.” “This has nothing to do with Rodri. He’s a fantastic footballer and deserves respect. But anyone who watched this World Cup knows who the face of the tournament was. Every stadium waited for Messi’s next touch. Every opponent feared him. Every Argentine believed because our captain was on the pitch.” “Sometimes football gets it wrong, and this is one of those moments. You can’t watch everything Messi did at his age, under that pressure, against the best teams in the world, and then tell me someone else defined the tournament more than he did. That’s impossible for me to accept.” “They can keep the trophy. They can keep the votes. History won’t remember a voting panel it will remember that a 39-year-old Lionel Messi walked into another World Cup, dominated the biggest stage in football and reminded the entire world why no one has ever reached his level. For me, he’ll always be the real Golden Ball winner.”

@markklfc You are a clown he is pish he scored penaltys should have had a red card early in tournament yes moments like record broken as in England's jude bellingham or the top goal scorer mbappe! You are a terrible pundit playing to a narrative and not your own opinion! SUPER ALLY MCCOIST
