NFL “analysts” trying to bully a young Man who was literally the last pick in the draft just shows how all this can be taken with a grain of salt. Brock Purdy. Rooted in Faith. Last pick in the draft, already proved everyone who passed him up wrong ten times over, knocking on the door. You really gotta dig deep into your cold soul to find a reason to hate on this kid 😂
@nineralex If Purdy was taken in the 3rd round like Russell Wilson, they would be praising Shanahan and Brock for their development. But because he was the last pick, he slaps the face of all of the draft analysts. They tear him down because it shows how little they actually know
@AJFromFresno @nineralex Almost as little as a team that took Trey Lance third overall. Oops.
@joekornik @nineralex Kinda like a team that took Carson Wentz 2nd overall to only have his backup win a Super Bowl. Then the team runs him out of town by taking a running back in the Second Round 2 years later
@AJFromFresno @nineralex You’re the one that said the draft “experts” didn’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to Purdy. I was just pointing out the 49ers draft “experts” didn’t know what they were talking about either. A least Carson Wentz had some productive years.
@joekornik @nineralex They don’t. And remember how Zach Wilson was a can’t miss prospect? Or how Sam Darnold was a can’t miss player and the Browns messed up not taking him #1 over baker? Or Josh Rosen was a top-5 talent. Or how Josh Allen wasn’t good. Or Jake Locker was good enough to go 8th.
@AJFromFresno @nineralex Yeah, of course. Even in the first round the success rate is 50/50. I like Purdy. Seems like a good dude. Credit the 49ers for seeing something in him, but there’s no way they thought they found their QB of the future with the last pick of the draft. But they actually might have.
