Update for last week: We continue to actively work on the transition to the NZX. This coming week, we have our quarterly update to the market and on Wednesday we'll host a live Investor Webinar at 10:30am AEDT. You can register below, or watch live X. We plan on giving a detailed update on the process during the webinar plus our plans going forward. I'll be back in Auckland this week, meeting with potential Investors and having our first Locate NZ board meeting on Thursday. We are also hiring a General Counsel, ready to assist with future capital raises etc, so ill be doing some interviews. LOTS happening, but the detailed update will be coming in this week's webinar. Look forward to seeing you there! us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regist…
Really enjoyed speaking with @UngaroDarcy hear about all our plans in moving to the NZX
Steve Orenstein's logistics software firm was restricted by Aussie regulators for holding too much Bitcoin on its balance sheet. Now they’re listing on NZX. Bring on NZ's first Bitcoin treasury company! #bitcoin #nzx @sorenstein youtu.be/UavfKdoOWXo
Update for last week! Arrived back late Friday night after spending most of the week in Auckland. I managed to meet with 12+ potential Investor Meetings. All really positive. One meeting was with one of the larger investments banks in NZ, they had very little understanding of Bitcoin but were very interested in what we are building. I think traditional finance is becoming more interested in learning about Bitcoin. I recorded two podcast, one with @UngaroDarcy! On a separate note I’ve read many people talking about the share price of BTC Treasuries. I always come back to why invest in Bitcoin and the question “what is money”. Then knowing that Bitcoin fixes today’s money, allows you to not get distracted by the noise. Volatility is expected. LOTS of retail investors made a LOT of money over the past few months which lead to selling pressure. Now many of these stocks have been oversold. Zoom out and think about the next 10-20 years, never invest based on the short term. The US debt will continue to increase and the US dollar will continue to be devalued… as @LynAldenContact says “Nothing stops this train”. In the future I’ll never talk about our share price when it’s high or low. I’m always focused on building and creating shareholder value. The share price will look after itself. I would encourage other CEOs to do the same… have a great week ahead!
I went to the beach today and saw this… missed all the Bitcoin drama 🤣
Update for the week. Monday kicked off with a public holiday here in Aus, but I worked all day, including a radio interview in NZ. We are now starting to get a few media stories coming out about our move to the NZX. Likely another one next week. The rest of the week was mostly focused on the legal work required for the listing and also the scheme of arrangements. It's now with the regulators to do their thing... Also been speaking with Institutional investors. Bank accounts are now set up in NZ, share register ready to go, and ATM Facility is almost ready. Next week I'll be in Auckland from Wed-Friday meeting with investors. I'll also be doing a Podcast with the NZX. If you're in Auckland and a Bitcoiner, reach out if you want to meet!
