AP Exclusive: Records show more than 9,000 recovering coronavirus patients in New York were released from hospitals into nursing homes under a controversial state order. apne.ws/nv5MwQ0
@AP Still, more investigation is required. NY was hit hard and first. By Trump's federal law, medicaid/medicare do not pay for hospital stays if it is not medically necessary. If there were cleared, then who was going to pay for it?
@AP @EliseStefanik NY was hit first and hardest. Trump told us COVID in a few weeks & there was no guidance from fed gov. Cuomo had to start making his own decisions, he made mistakes, the vorus was so new & feds abandoned states. NY wasn't the only state to do that. Why aren't you attacking Trump?
@AP You do know that happened in every state. It happened to my own family member in another state. Nursing homes are divided into green, yellow, & red zones. Sometimes an entire nursing home becomes a red zone especially when hospitals need the beds cc @NYGovCuomo @melissadderosa
@AP The real criminal was in the White House I wanted to always play it down
@AP How about red state governors doing the same thing with updated information and resources? Why aren’t you reporting this
@AP I support that order, because New York State had no other choice at that time.
@AP The CDC says you’re no longer contagious after 10 days of symptoms. Many were in hospitals for longer. They were not contagious. Positive maybe, but not contagious
@AP Conservatives were labeled conspiracy theorists when we were pointing this out last summer.
