Taken out of aegis by Lotus, Ggs to @MaykaS_LoR and co. I'll be there next split, but it's draft format, so we'll see if I get picked lol.
All I wanted to do was play toxic combo decks in eternal ngl. But here we are in aegis.
Taken down by red pup games :( Ggs guys
Druuuuuunnnmk amaa if any of you fuckers are awakr
Pennsylvania is an incredible place
Pickems in shambles. Aphrodite Beta qualifies for playoffs.
It's amazing how many decks effectively go unplayed until some psycho like sCBASSs just decides "you know what, I'm gonna stream garen j4 kai'sa" at 5 in the morning and then it ends up winning an open a couple weeks later.
Whatever this guy was ready for, it wasn't this.
Guess I'm playing a little bit of weebstone now, thanks @FreezeBombSV
@Lunayah__ Yeah, the first MR open I actually denied someone a topcut because I dropped and it came down to owr :( There has to be something better than trophies, they're so hard to get if you're new or newish.
@Lunayah__ Yeah :( and I'm guessing it's difficult to do the traditional ogw tiebreaker
@Lunayah__ ... Not going ladder > trophies seems like a mistake but holy cow how did it get that far down the tiebreakers
@brokenballl Update: We were both wrong, the meta did develop. It's just that the hot new deck is Lucian illaoi siren's song lmao.
@brokenballl Does that mean I think we necessarily need a hotfix? No. I actually think the game is fine because control decks still have room to exist. The problem is that it's only control, and I think control is really boring.
@brokenballl I don't think there's much room for evolution beyond this point because of how oppressive 6/8 divine clerk and friends is. Theres just such a massive gap between the two main xolaani decks and everything else that it stat-checks the meta without being interesting to play or watch
While it's true that we don't need a hotfix when we're talking about variety in the meta and avoiding frustrating, high-variance play, I think all the meta decks are boring as hell and I'd rather play any other game.
