@dillojackal @conor64 @maddog301 It doesn’t matter, no. They weren’t deported back to their countries. They were imprisoned after being accused of being part of Tren de Aragua without any evidence or explanation, which is bad and the relevant part. You can’t make up reasons to torture someone

@ayeefkay @howardchief @krystalball @ryangrim - The Trump administration is the one that has made no effort in court to determine criminal history/affiliation, either in the US nor Venezuela. - 50 cases out of 230 is actually a lot.

@michaelcdeibert @Billy76769956 @Snowden I also recall statements from Snowden over the years criticizing Putin’s surveillance, censorship etc. I’m sure you can google more of them fastcompany.com/4045813/edward…

@michaelcdeibert @Billy76769956 @Snowden Let’s be objective here. Being wrong about the Russian attack happening is not the same as supporting attacking Ukraine. I stopped following him, but I don’t think he defended it. In fact he admitted he was wrong. If anything it shows he was clueless about Putin and the region.

@michaelcdeibert @Billy76769956 @Snowden lol No. Putin is obviously a horrible bloody dictator. I’m just questioning what evidence exists that Snowden works for him, when the guy explicitly tried to leave Russia but was blocked by the US and has also been critical of Putin. Idk just trying to be objective here.

@michaelcdeibert @Billy76769956 @Snowden C’mon, isn’t this old American propaganda? Is there evidence that’s he is covering for an imperialist dictatorship? Hell, it’s even been confirmed that he was about to leave Russia and go to Latin America, but the US blocked him.

@MaxNewland_ @jesswatki118 @TaylorLorenz The UK is a different system of law with a different judge, a different burden and with a different question. The UK judge disregarded a lot of evidence as well.
