Silver Award practice expedition Oct 2020: Friday night 10 year 11 students put their tents up in Huish Woods, it's dry...ish!

Anyone who has finished their bronze, or is mostly there, can enrol for Silver and start that. The expedition dates would be May 9-10 Training June 5-7 Practice July 3-5 Qualifying Obtain a form and return to Dr Parkes, then payment option will appear on gateway.

Working up to begin DofE for this year. There will be an induction lesson for new y9s who have enrolled on Wed 30th Oct. We still have some who have paid but not filled out the form. No form=No online account, so please make sure we have them all in soon as you can.

Hi Everyone, We're up and running for this year and dates for the expedition are now fixed. Training: May 4th -5th Practise: June 8th-9th Qualifying:June 29th-30th Letters coming home soon. I will be available to discuss with parents during Y9 parents eve. 4th Dec.

Any year 10 students that signed up for DofE last year but didn't get started are free to attend this years introduction. Just have a word with Dr Parkes first.

This Friday is the introduction to DofE. Please ensure if you have handed a form in that you have paid. Friday Tutor time and Period 5 students will be taught by our regional operations officer how to set up their accounts and get started.

We are currently recruiting for this year. Forms have been handed out. If you/your child is interested please return the completed forms by half term hols (19th Oct). Everyone from year 9 upwards welcome.
