3/3 Plant, machinery & systems don't fail not because somebody has done something wrong on it but its usually as a result of everybody doing nothing to prevent it from failing. With good maintenance practices, buildings do not depreciate, but they only appreciate in value.

When you give or design something that burdens people with maintenance because it's old or failed developed world technology, you are basically fracturing that community's economics & social life. Maintenability prediction is key because it's easy to obtain but hard to maintain.
