بعد أن إنتهى فيودور دوستويفسكي من كتابة روايته الرائعة الأخوة كارامازوف، جاءه كاتب شاب يدعى ميريغوفكسي والذي كان في بداية مشواره الأدبي طالباً منه النصيحة فنصحهُ دوستويفسكي بجملة واحدة : "لكي يكتب الإنسان عليه أن يتعذب، يتعذب!".
