Jimmy Thelin has been appointed as the twenty-fifth permanent manager of Aberdeen Football Club. The Swede, together with assistants Christer Persson and Emir Bajrami, will leave their current roles at IF Elfsborg this summer, taking up post at Pittodrie in early June.
@AberdeenFC This will he incredible banter. A rotund dishevelled Michael Beale 😂
@AberdeenFC Credit goes to DC & AB on getting Thelin & his team onboard. Took longer than anyone wanted, looking on here a popular appointment, but we as fans need to support the team & players from now until end of the season to ensure we rebuild for next season in the premiership.
@AberdeenFC Sacked by xmas for playing a 4-3-3 and the fans knew best.
@AberdeenFC Not sure about the use of the word permanent...
@AberdeenFC Jimmy Jimmy. Patience paying off. He’s got a big job ahead but this is a really exciting and ambitious appointment. Delighted to see Peter Leven continuing too.🇸🇪⚽️👏🏻
