After getting to work in private markets it makes it hard to enjoy public market investing as much as before. The lack of operating information is the most difficult part.

Research a company, like what I see, do some valuation work, then find out its a fintwit favorite and immediately become skeptical. Is it rational to be more skeptical of fintwit favorites?

I've Started reading the book Better Simpler Strategy and can't help but think explaining the core ideas of the book, willingness to pay and willingness to sell, as marginal benefits to consumers and marginal cost to suppliers would be much more clear.
