Wishing them luck with the next project, I'm signing out as this year's chairperson, we'll be back on twitter after summer!
As our committee members move off to uni, James and Josie will be taking over as chairpeople for the new school year.
It's definitely been a learning experience, we've tried new things and taken some risks, and it came out better than I ever hoped.
The show went really well tonight, thanks so much to our cast, our audience, and Tom for teching it all so brilliantly.
Tomorrow we're all taking a well earned day off to recuperate. Worked hard today.
The piece finally has a title, as of last night we're rehearsing A Number Of Secrets, and it's looking good!
1 week to go until the Absolute Beginners performance, come along and see us!
Things are starting to fall into place, there's a sizeable pile of props in my living room and we finished the argument scene today!
A week and a half to go, scheduling all of next week down to the minute so that it all gets done. I'm becoming hopeful, at least.
The show's not far away and we still have no title! #leastofmyworries
Rehearsals went well today, two more scenes blocked out and Josie's monologues are ready to be scripted over the weekend.
Smaller groups seems to work better, we get distracted less and have time to try everyone's ideas without getting bogged down in discussion.
We have a scene! It's unfinished, it's not perfect, but it's definitely there and it's good. Feeling very motivated and enthusiastic.
Annie and I had a great production meeting this morning, we've got so many plans.
Tomorrow we're looking at the relationship of James and Thea's characters. Breaking out the "private moment" exercise.
Today we learned: 1) yes, a duvet cover can hold a person's weight. 2) Annie can't take being a monster seriously. Fun session.
Some interesting ideas coming out of this morning's rehearsal, I look forward to putting some of them into practice on Tuesday.
Up early to prepare for rehearsals today, looking forward to it.
Getting ready to do some serious physical theatre on Friday. We're creating a nightmare, with bedsheets, pillows, the whole shebang.
