Q2 in the books!! 📊What a truly breathtaking quarter both realized and unrealized. Q2 Unrealized Gain: 378% ✅ Q2 Realized P/L: $287k 💰 $MU $SNDK $ASTS $MUU $ASML $MSTR some of the bigger trades this quarter. I’ve done an extremely good job of keeping emotions separate from the market but this one hits home. Aside from the market being awesome, this was a truly breathtaking quarter being able to size with conviction. All the hard work, the countless hours on the screen day in and day out, showing up every single weekend for years, having a plan every single day, and finally scaling out/sizing up and down with rhythm instead of randomness. 18-19 year old me would have laughed in my face if I told him that’s where he was heading. Every single one of you are capable of succeeding in the market. I am not better/smarter than any of you, but Im certainly more resilient, and that’s all it takes in trading. Know that. 📈THE DRIVERS: Before anybody learns how to trade, you need to learn how to find value in a company. Your life becomes much easier as a trader when you are trading names that WANT to go higher. If you learn how to value a company, you understand how a company makes money, and you begin to detach emotions from moving candles because you know the underlying story. That is what allowed $MU and $SNDK to be the drivers of my portfolio this quarter. I wasn’t afraid to hold $MU through drawdowns because I was confident in the story and knew what was changing. I wasn’t afraid to load calls off key weekly levels and the 9 or 21MA on $SNDK and $MU because I was confident in where value lied in the market. 📈PROCESS IS EVERYTHING: $ASTS has been another significant driver as I started switching and scaling $MU equity out and into $ASTS under $70. Timing was fortunate but it’s because the PROCESS was established prior. It isn’t your job to wake up and make the same trade everyday. Creativity is a thriving trait for a trader, as we have to adapt daily to an ever-changing market, and a single setup won’t have an edge forever. What MUST be the same is your process. Have a pre market routine or a Sunday night breakdown. Review trades, check your screeners, check the indexes, check news flow, check watchlists, check whatever is part of your process and within your playbook. THEN from there, you see what setups you have possibly forming within your playbook, nothing else. Process is everything.

If everything was forecasted to perfection there would be no opportunity, ever. 3 years ago the best AI models solved roughly 4% of real software engineering tasks on the standard benchmark… Today the top agents run 70 to 90% on the same test. Nobody forecasted that. Nobody could have. Nobody sitting in 2023 modeled a commodity DRAM cycle turning into a sold-out three-supplier bottleneck with HBM margins three to five times conventional DRAM. I have generated well over $500k in realized trading profits over the past two years.. If I had to start trading over again from zero, there are two non-negotiables I would build before anything else: 1. A complete understanding of options. Not just calls and puts. All of it. 2. Knowing how to value a company and recognize the characteristics of a stock that wants to go up. Everything I have built came from tying those two together. Let me explain why. When I started, my money was scattered everywhere. $3-$4k in a trading account. $10-$12k in an investment account. Another $7-$8k spread across checking, savings, and crypto. I was technically in the market, but I was going nowhere.. no strategy, no edge, but a deep understanding of value and a deep understanding of options. Nothing changed until I consolidated everything into one account, around 25k. I finally had the knowledge AND CAPITAL to play options properly. Here is the problem with how most people start, there are three types of traders: The first traders are like most individual’s, they will find options and see two buttons. Buy calls, buy puts. And they amount to an endless cycle of reloading a few hundred on accounts. The second traders are a smaller group that do deep dive into options, but quickly realize it requires capital to unlock the true power of options, like selling premium, and they quickly revert to tactics that fit there capital, with majority falling to the same deposit cycle. The third trader is the one who thrives, the one who continues to learn the ins and outs of the market while placing there equity in high value stocks and allowing outsourced income to fuel the account higher, tactically budgeting and stacking the account and knowledge higher. Non-negotiable number one is understanding the full toolkit, and the piece that changed everything for me was selling premium. Cash secured puts and covered calls. When you sell premium, you collect the money up front. Outside of spreads, it is one of the only trades where the payout is guaranteed the moment you click the button, and there is no realized loss if wrong. You are not hoping for a payout. You already have it. Your risk is not the premium, it is your collateral moving. This is exactly why non-negotiable number two exists. Selling premium on a bad company is how you get run over. But if you only sell premium on companies that are making money, growing earnings, and sitting in a strong niche or theme, the "risk" becomes getting filled on a stock you wanted to own anyway, with the potential to sell it higher later. One skill tells you how to get paid. The other tells you what deserves your collateral. Alone, each is incomplete. Together, they become a system. And that system let me do something I call “trading for free” Say I sold puts one week and collected $200 in premium. The next week, that $200 was my entire trading budget for buying calls, puts, or shares trades. Not my account. Just the premium. If I traded it well, the account compounded. If I lost it, I was back at breakeven instead of down. Then I ran the cycle again. Sell puts. Get filled on names I actually wanted. Sell covered calls against the shares. Collect again. Some of it went to taxes, some to savings, the rest reinvested. Week after week, it stopped feeling like gambling and started running like a structured business. Trading for free is what took my emotions out of the game. When your downside on the week is breakeven, you stop forcing trades and start executing a process. That is when I finally began to scale. So can you start options trading with 5k or less? Yes. But you are trying with both hands tied behind your back. If I could go back, I would save up real capital first, build these two skills before risking a dollar, and let the system do the work. Two non-negotiables. Learn options completely. Learn what makes a stock go up. Everything else came from there. $SPY $QQQ $MU $SNDK $ASTS
