@zachwoliner @ActionFigPics @Marvel @Hasbro @JoeMadx That's true. @xmentas with Richard Mueller & Gary Greenfield wrote the script that inspired AOA. Animation took a year to produce, sometimes. By the time I directed the episode, AOA had been published and I used the designs in the show.
@ActionFigPics @Marvel @Hasbro I had actually asked @xmendirector about this, wondering about the chicken and egg of the comics and show. The cartoon episode inspired the comic story, but I think there was collaboration with the comic side, as I know @JoeMadx designed a lot of the costumes.
