Today's comic is a special one because it discusses #dyscalculia, which co-occurs frequently with #adhd. I personally live with it and it's something I feel should be discussed more often. (1/2)
@AdhdBri This me my entire life 😭 it sucks because all jobs for the most part require math skills and I have so many skills I can do so much better. I’m always so worried whatever job I get into that I can get pass this disability!
@AdhdBri I love you 🥲 Thank you so much for talking about this and putting it in a comic!
@AdhdBri I feel so seen!!!! I struggled with math so much in high school and still do at my job! I actually was put on a 504 plan to help me with my math test anxiety
@AdhdBri i'm not gonna self diagose here but... i have suspected there is a genuine Problem with my maths abilities shout out to the teachers who kept insisting i could get a B in maths gcse (i earned that C. i'm proud of it)
@AdhdBri I am good at math and I hate math. I hate driving. Spatial awareness is eh, I am always early because I have family who makes late look like a new era & I just can't, and calculators are my friends with Google.
@AdhdBri Agreed! My worse memory is balling my eyes out in front of a college math class as I basically had a breakdown during a test because I couldn’t answer anything. Great way to give yourself #ptsd or maybe I was already there. #adhdquestions
@AdhdBri Strangely I would consider pattern recognition a strength but when I thing about it, it’s only related to art and design.
